An indicator measures the percentage of statutes and regulations that are compatibles with sustainable development

An indicator measures the percentage of people who believe that information about sustainable development  is readily available. Information sources could be from industry, libraries, media, organizations, government and schools.

An indicator measures the percentage of all organizations that have sustainable development in code of ethics, vision statements, mission statements and annual reports. By including sustainable development it will ensure accountability and progress towards adoption of strategies, plans and activities that support sustainable development.

An indicator measures the percentage  of all public sector and private sector management positions that have sustainable development in their job descriptions. This will ensure accountability for management decisions consistent with sustainable development principles.

An indicator measures the sustainable development literacy by sector including age, income, and education level attained. Each person makes decisions that affect both our environment and our economy and so it is important for individuals to have an understanding of both sustainable development and the effects of their decisions.

An indicator measures the changes observed after environmental empowerment and accountability for all sectors of society.
