We will have the new Global Dialogue on
Earth Management - all Peoples together during
the month of August of year 2002.
Humanity has reached a stage of development we recognized as unique on its evolutionary path. This fact was previously brought forward during the Global Dialogue World Congress on Managing and Measuring Sustainable Development - Global Community Action 1. Earth Management - all Peoples together is about a new, unique Global Dialogue on the management of global changes with respect to four levels of concern: environment, people, economic development, and availability of resources; all interacting with each other and within themselves. A sound working balance amongst the interactions has to be found to ensure a sound future for Earth, which will influence the economic success of your business in the new millennium. Earth Management - all Peoples together is unique because it will establish a permanent new global dialogue on measuring and assessing sustainable development, and on providing sound management policy solutions to Earth Community. It is a grassroots process involving everyone as part of Earth Community. New standards, goals and objectives have to be defined. Firm universal guidelines are essentials in keeping the world healthy. Already we notice new ways of thinking being embraced, new behaviors and attitudes adopted. Sound solutions to all our problems will have to be researched and developed and made available to everyone on the Internet. This is la raison d’être of Earth Community Organization. With the coming of the millennium, the affairs of humanity appear to be unfolding in more profound ways. Cause and effect is more apparent and happening more quickly. Those of you who are educated and aware will find themselves urgently called upon to action for the good of all humanity. Global link-ups are already happening at a fast rate. Business leaders are much more sensitive to the greater, wider needs for their expertise and are already in the process of creating a new kind of civilization. One of the most important factors in our lives is the inter-connection we have to others, to other countries. Through these connections we will be able to create changes for good on a global scale. We must now all become linked to others in faraway places on a much deeper level if we are to work together to keep our planet healthy, productive and hospitable for all people and living things. As your awareness of this global need deepens you will want to join with others to see that good changes happen. Right now you can use your skills, your knowledge, your abilities, to realize how your strengths can help bring about the best kind of changes in the world by connecting with us in our aim to promote sustainable development on four major interacting levels. We believe Earth Community is at a turning point. We can no longer perceive ourselves as a People who could survive alone and a People who does not need anyone else. We are worlds within worlds orbiting in and through each other’s space. We belong and depend to a much larger group, that of Earth Community. The 21st Century will see limitless links and interrelationships within Earth Community. The entire world is at a turning point. Our particular approach at the Global Dialogue is to emphasize how to best harmonize interacting impacts upon human beings, use of resources, economic growth and environmental needs. If possible try to show how your field of interest influences all four areas and develop policies (workable sound solutions) to submit to Earth Community. Your Paper will likely be followed by discussions as delegates seek ideas they can use in their own countries. Even if you are not prepared to present a research paper, your voice as a community representative is most warmly welcome and urgently needed. Everyone is required to be a willing participant of this grassroots process to ensure a sustainable future for Earth. Paper submissions will be assessed and selected by the GCAC. Please use the Paper Submission Cover Sheet and include a one-page topic summary for assessment. Read the criteria for submission. The deadline for submission of individual abstracts and papers, presentations, panel discussions and workshop proposals, facilitated groups, and of photographic, poster and dramatic display dealing with pertinent themes, is March 24, year 2002. Your abstract will then appear in the Final Program. Students of all levels (school, college, technical, university) are invited to participate in the Global Dialogue. They are asked to produce any creative work of their vision of what Earth Management - all Peoples together can accomplish ~ in the fields of zoology, biology, on history, on geography, on social and political sciences, on agriculture, energy, earth sciences, communications, wilderness, pollution, on the water supplies of the world, poverty, employment, social justice, global concepts, universal values, Earth Government, human rights, business and economy, availability of resources and so on.
