Sustainable development is not only a problem of technology but that is the problem of people awareness. People must get the true environmental information on both local and global levels. During the last ten years the Taraz Green Movement Center has been taking an active part in gathering and distribution of environmental information in Kazakhstan.

We established the only NGO's ecological newspaper "Oasis". As the Editor I took part in the Global Forum-92 in Rio-de-Janeiro. As well we established an International Environmental Children Art Competition "The Planet that you leave for us". It involved thousands of children and adults in Asia Europe and USA.

The Green Movement Center in collaboration with Sacred Earth Net (SEN) is providing the saving Snow Leopard Project in the Middle Asia.

For the World Congress I can bring an exhibition of the best children artworks. As well I can share our experience in distribution of environmental information.
