After two successful global dialogues we are now on our way to Global Dialogue 2004. It just seems so hard to improve upon what we have already achieved.
All previous issues are a part of the new dialogue with new issues related to the 'New Age Civilization of the 3rd Millennium: the age of global co-operation and symbiotical relationships'.
The theme indicates to focus on a 'Vision to Caring for Life and Earth'.
It is a difficult theme for it implies the survival of all lifeforms for the next million years. Perhaps you should read again the article in this Newsletter titled 'Earth policies to reduce human population to 500 millions'. It should indicate to you more understanding of the direction we have taken since our first dialogue in year 2000. We made real progress. We have a lot more to do. The world needs more understanding, more explanation about where we are going as a species, what are our duties as citizens of the Earth, and more research and development in a wide range of physical and social issues. In this Newsletter we have discussed a lot on issues related to Justice in the world or the lack of it. And issues related to Peace and democracy! I would appreciate an article from each of you, topic of your choice. May the DIVINE WILL come into our lives and show us the way. May our higher purpose in life bring us closer to the Soul of Humanity and God. I may be the only Canadian who will stand for Justice in the world but here 'I am Canadian'. I speak also on behalf of the Earth Community, the human family.
You no longer stand for Peace, freedom, Justice and democracy. You no longer stand for any of those values. You broke away from those values a while ago and I'm here to remind you of them.
America can no longer be seen as a good representative nation of the world. Asides from invading other nations, of being a nation predator, you refuse to ratify the Kyoto Protocol as has done the international community and yet you are asking for help from this same community to go to war which itself
is the next most destructive action of the environment. This is insane! The Earth Court of Justice has an action against America and all nations that have not ratified the agreement. We may not have the resources to
enforce Justice but we know you are all guilty of the worst crimes.
In our September 2002 Newsletter, we have explained how the American Government never applied ethical and moral values in the activities of their trade in the Middle East. They have made trade a despicable act of dealing with one another between human beings and between nations. No laws! No regulations! No ethics! No moral responsibility and accountability! Everyone has the "freedom" of destroying the global life-support systems! Everyone has the "freedom" of human rights abuses! Now pollution, diseases, terrorism, poverty, social and economic injustice have no boundaries. American have brought disgrace to humanity by their selfish, immoral, unethical, incoherent, inconsistent, dishonnest, erratic, and mostly aimed at making money behavior in the Middle East and towards Afghanistan. And yes it is your behavior that brought up September 11. It is about time you say me-aculpa. Canadians know Americans in their guts. We have been invaded a long time ago. This is about to change. If it all depended on me I would close my border, from coast to coast, to all Americans and their goods and services. We dont need you! We never did! It was your dis-information department that created the illusion that we needed you. Canada can do without you in every way! We dont need of your culture of violence. At age of six an American child has seen so much violence on television that he or she could give the chill to any child born in the Middle East. You are useless to Canada! But you need us. You badly need of our resources. For the protection of life globally, I would triple the prices of our coal, oil, natural gas and electricity, wood products, and of our basic food products including freshwater. You also need us to treat you like kings of the house even though you are bullies with no hearts and Souls. That is over with! Butt out! And you can keep your money! Stay home as Canadians are having a party toonight and we dont want it spoiled by bullies. In 1947, you have coerced the United Nations in creating the State of Israel. This was completely illegal and arbitrary from the part of the UN. The Jews of Israel and their religious beliefs were then and still are today the Trojan Horse for invading the Middle East and surrounding nations. All an illusion about an invading military force disguided as a democracy and defending the principles of freedom and democracy, and the land given to them by God himself. Back then your hidden agenda was and still is today the invasion of the Middle East and the exploitation of the oil resources. Invasion of the Middle East will give you a base to break up China into provinces as was done with the USSR. Exploitation of the oil resources will keep your economy healthy for the next thousand years. That was your plan then and still is now. The only problem with your plan is that you have lost your mind, your heart and your Soul in the process. You are not the kind of leader the world wants or needs. You are the Prince of Evil himself. You are the darkness. You have lost credibility! The values you are now promoting are no longer Justice for All, freedom and democracy. They are dictatorship and war. They are the destruction of the global life-support systems of the planet, and of all life. We will stop you! We will bring down the American economy and we will split America into several states free to live at peace with the rest of the world. Justice! Justice is a universal value. It is for everyone, everywhere in the world. We want Justice in the Middle East, not another invasion. We want the Earth Court of Justice to handle Justice. We dont want of a puppet Higher Court that would be anything like the tribunal of the WTO or the Internation Court. They are a mokery for Justice. We dont want the United Nations to be in charge of Justice because you have coerced the UN organization ever since its creation to do your five wishes. We want the annulment of the special privileges of the Five Permanent Members of the UN. We want one vote per million people. Your five wishes are done with now. You no longer have any more wishes. We want Justice at the UN and that mean to reorganize the UN as a democracy. You have lost all respect of most nations of our world. ECO has explained to you over and over again the problems you are creating in the world. Many times we have explained to you that Earth is like a space ship with its own life-support systems and that they are being threatened by your Way of Life. Global warming is here and now! Life is being threatened by your way of life and get on with solving your problems just like everyone else on the planet. You cannot be a leader for the good of the planet. We no longer want nations to be invaded. Humanity has no need of bullies. You have not even got to the point to realize that September 11 was your doing alone. Along with the British and the Russians you have created hate in the Middle East and you have given to trade a bad reputation, a bad name. You have diminished the way of doing business to being a trade between tugs. Along with the World Bank, the IMF, the UN, and the WTO you are making the world increasingly insecure and at war. May the DIVINE WILL come into our lives and show us the way. May our higher purpose in life bring us closer to the Soul of Humanity and God. As a nation `member of the United Nations you have obligations and they are to cooperate in the peace and security of the world.
The world has no need of another knot ball with a nuclear arsenal. We want every nation that has a nuclear arsenal to disarm themselves. When UN inspectors come to your country to inspect for nuclear
parts let them inspect until they are completely satisfied.
ECO is aware of tremendous harmships brought to your people by the United Nations. We are aware of nations such as Britain and the US, who have tried to colonize the Middle East and surrounding nations ever since the end of World War I. We know they are after your resource, the oil. We know the Jews of Israel and the State of Israel are their Trojan Horse to this brute invasion. Both have a long history of the most insidious and destructive forces in our world. Humanity has no need of bullies. Bully nations will always behave as bullies unless we stop them. The invasion of the Middle East will not stop at the Middle East. We know China is next on the US Government agenda. America needs is a strong hold in the Middle East in order to get the oil for free and to split China into provinces as was done with the old USSR. If we let the US invading the Middle East, we will not see Peace in the world at any time this Millennium. We are asking all the Arab nations to unite as one powerful People and to stop the invasion of your world by using economic means against the United States. We are asking you to stop selling oil to any country. You will lose in money but at least you will still be in control of your sates. Do not buy any products, goods and services from the US and their friendly nations, even Canada. Sell all of your investments on the world markets as the US will retaliate by asking their friends to freeze your investments. Do not practice speculation on world markets as it is evil thing created for Americans. It is like gambling. We are asking all oil producing nations to triple their oil prices. The planet has a problem with global warming and your share of the responsibility to causing the problem is way higher then anyone else. Consumers of your product cannot and dont want to be responsible of global warming. We are now putting the responsibility on to you and we will make you accountable in every way, like it or not, especially if you let the US get their hands on your oil resources. They are the worst polluters responsible for global warming. If you cannot be responsible and accountable then you should not be in charge of the oil resources. And we will come after you!
Dear Prime Minister:
Over the past several years our research team at the Global Community Assessment Centre (GCAC) has shown over and over again that global warming is here and we need to act now. The planet is getting warmer. Ratifying the Kyoto Protocol is only a first step to protect our global life-support systems. Much more has to be done. To a politician, a week is a long time. To an economist, thirty years is the 'long term'. Politicians and economists deal only in desperately trivial twinklings of time. To a pessimistic person, in the long run we are all dead so why bother. To a religious person, we are all here on Earth for the glory of God but eternal life is after we passed away so why bother. Why bother? Why will it matter whatever we do now on Earth when eternal life is next? This is also a pessimistic view. A large cross-section of people think that way. It just seems that life is defeated before even trying to fight for our survival. Unless God gives these people new Revelations about the worth of managing Earth than life does not stand a chance. When we think about life on Earth we must think as a matter of course in very long periods of time. Whatever happen in this 3rd Millennium, which we have called the New Age Civilization of the 3rd Millennium, will depend of us and to what degree we are willing to make a difference to manage wisely Earth, our home. Will our actions be geared to survive a decade, a hundred years, a thousand years, or a million years? If our actions were geared to survive a million years, the chances are that we would learn to master great things including harnessing the sun flare energy, interstellar travel, genetic engineering, and reajusting the planetary position of another planet in our solar system to initiate a new life on its surface. Is it no worth to make sacrifices now? A sound governance of the Earth is needed for the long term survival of our species. This is 'la raison d'etre' of the Interim Earth Government. ECO has proposed the creation of global ministries to manage Earth and humanity's global problems. History can help us understand ourselves and what is happening to us, and our impact upon the rest of the world, only when we look at ourselves on the grand scale of time. As members of families, we note the passing generations. Historians traditionally deal in centuries. For the most part we are unaware of the deep rhythms that lie beneath naturally occurring events, rhythms that must be measured in millennia, or in millions of years, or in tens of millions of years. We have a huge effect upon all life on Earth and the fabric of the planet itself yet we are vaguely aware of the rhythms. From an engineering point of view that is totally unacceptable. If Earth was seen as a spaceship whith specific life-support systems, to think of those rhythms would be of outmost importance. The knowledge and understanding of the rhythms would determine our policies now, today. Even though our lives are so brief, a million years should be a proper unit of political time. Politicians would become in a way engineers who can think not only a week at a time but can also think ahead a million years. The world needs 'engineer politicians' with the highest integrity of judgment. We all know we are rapidly wiping out our fellow species on Earth. We tend to think that this present-day destructiveness is just an anomaly and that in the fullness of time the world will settle down again into some form that may be slightly different from the present but nonetheless agreable. Not so! By changing the climate as we do we influence the ecology and evolution of the whole world for the rest of time. It is important to understand that the way climate behaves, the extreme of which it is capable of, and the ways in which it can be influenced. Yet when we look at our own history as human beings and briefly at the 100 million years or so of prehistory, we see how dangerous this complacency is, the sheer precariousness of our existence and of all other lifeforms. Small events today can have huge global consequences that can change the flora and fauna of the whole world. Some people at least are bothered now by global warming and know that nothing can ever be the same again. But what is the cause of it? Just a rise in concentration of a gas in the atmosphere that in any case is present in barely more than a trace. That is all it takes to change the climate of the world. When we look at our own history and prehistory we see this very effect in action and the results. Without such effects, this time in reverse, that is, a loss in greenhouse gases rather than a gain, our own species probably would not have come into existence. Earth as it stands now is a miraculous jewel of a place, an oasis in an infinitely hostile and diverse universe, Shangrila. Nothing says that this Shangrila will ever come back again after we destroyed it. We are just beginning to see what a dangerous game we are playing. More specifically we begin to see how inadequate it is to think only in shorth periods of time, and to be satisfied with politics and policies of economics that deal only with the here and now. Over the past several years the Earth Community Oragnization has fought the economic systems of the world requiring that the FTAA, the EU and the WTO be governed by the Scale of Human and Earth Rights and the Charter of the Earth Community. The Scale was designed for the survival of our species and that of other lifeforms we want to take along with us over a period of one million years. Peace in the world is a state of being at peace within ourselves. Justice keeps us at peace. When there is no justice, human rights, peace and security are threatened and war is often thought as the only solution. The Earth Community Organization (ECO) believes that the United States have not accepted the principle of justice for all in humanity. They have already objected to have their military be subjected to the international court. They want a special treatment over and above the other nations of the world. As far as they are concerned, Justice is only for the other nations not for the US. So it is no wonder that war is at the horizon. The US can break the laws but not the other nations. There is no justice! This means Americans dont feel at peace within themselves because they are guilty of something terrible. We all know what this is. The whole world knows Americans have planned to invade the Middle East nations and other nations as well ever since they coerced the United Nations in creating the State of Israel, the Jews of Israel being their Trojan Horse. Americans are invaders, nation predators, just as the British were in the past. They will not stop at the Middle East, we all know China is their next target. If they get what they want, they will make Adolf Hitler look like a kid in the block. There will never be Peace this millennium. The September 11 event was a desperate response to this threat, and yes of trade issues as well but then what is trade when the US military is left out of Justice? What is trade when the US military is taken over a nation's resources? Trade has no meaning except when the US is getting richer at the expenses of all other nations, including Canada, and at the expenses of the global life-support systems. The US is willing to disregard global warming as 'the major threat to the world' today, to all life on Earth. The risk is insane! America has lost credibility as a leader nation. America needs to be told with action that global warming is here and now. America needs to be told that it wont matter all the oil in the world and all the Saddam Husseins in the world if we do not protect our global life-support systems. Sir, you go ahead and be tougher than you can ever be and imagine. Humanity needs a leader with integrity. Be that leader! Kyoto is only a beginning. There is a whole lot more work to do to save humanity and all life from extinction. As far as the US are concerned they lost their mind, heart and Soul. Dont follow into their steps. There is a chance that they might follow into yours. As far as an action to be taken to bring America in line with the rest of the world, close the Canadian border from coast to coast to all consumer products, goods and services going back and forth, and triple the prices of oil, natural gas, coal, electricity, wood products, food products, water being sold to America, until they have agreed and taken all actions to resolve the problem with global warming and peace in the world and that means no war. God hope they do! You have a chance to be a great leader and as a Canadian I want you to be even greater. God blesses us all! I prey God to give you strength. Dear Natives of British Columbia, Canada,
The Earth Community Organization (ECO) is letting you know once more that the Scale of Human and Earth Rights are much in your favor. The reason being that Native rights are ecological and primordial human rights which in turn supersede the rights of the greatest number of people in British Columbia. The Scale was designed for the survival of all life for a period of a million years. We suggest you read the article "Earth policies to reduce human population to 500 millions". We discuss land management. Hopefully this will help to settle land claims in your favor as you are the only people in Canada who can help protecting wildlife, at least for now. There should be a definite and specific clause in any agreement with the natives that it is what they will do with the land and not turn it into a huge commercial and industrial site as would the white man do. Of course you will have to add in the agreement that you will be protecting the ecosystem of the land, do nothing to create problems such as global warming and do everything to prevent anyone to create such problems. Otherwise the deal is off. In order words, you may have your claims for a million years for as long as you take along with you all the wildlife is possible and you show you can manage this wildlife refuge. The agreement must also stipulate that there will be no new development (residential, commercial, industrial) and that you will commit to decommission commercial and industrial developments already in place. The Scale works in your favor for as long as you can prove you rights are classified as ecological and primordial human rights. If not then your rights are classified as cultural rights. Cultural rights are found at the bottom of the Scale and therefore the will of the greatest number of people supersedes those rights. We want your land to be a global corridor for wildlife. We want you to own and manage it. But this can only happen if you agree to the above. Do you want this deal? May the DIVINE WILL come into our lives and show us the way. A short while ago we heard the International Court being told by the United States that American soldiers were not to be taken to Court.
How is it possible that a nation such as the United States can be abstained from Justice? How is it possible that the United Nations would not strongly react to such dismal of Justice?
How is it possible that any nation, anyone at all, should be abstained from Justice? The judicial body is one of three bodies of a democracy: executive, legislative and judiciary. Take Justice out and you dont have a democracy. So how
is it possible that the United States promotes democracy in the Middle East under the condition that there is no Justice as far as they are concerned. America wants to apply Justice
with the help of their military to all of the Middle East nations. But they dont want Justice to be applied to themselves.
This is totally unacceptable! Justice is for everyone and is a universal constant. Justice should also be strongly applied in all aspects of global life: the environment, the misused of the Earth resources, problems between nations, the creation of new nations, trade and other global ministries. To answer the question of "How is it possible that the United Nations would not strongly react to such dismal of Justice?" is probably due to the fact that the UN is not a democracy. It never was a democracy! Justice is non-existent at the UN. The UN is an organization where politicians meet to receive instruction from the United States about what to do next. The UN follow the US lead because the US has a lot of money and a lot of guns and mass destruction weapons for sell. So when the US say that Justice does not apply to Americans then all nations comply. Noone at the UN ever thought for one moment to say that was wrong and to tell Americans that Justice applies to everyone including Americans. The Earth Court of Justice would try President Bush and millions of Americans for not ratifying the Kyoto Protocol. They have committed the greatest crimes against humanity, against all life on Earth and they must be tried for their crimes. The United States are also a nation that invaded other nations to take away their resources or for self interests and profit. When they dont use their military they use their institutions and corporations. That is the reason why there is such a gap between rich and poor countries.
What is so great about our species that made us to survive and be dominant over all others? Simply ask how is it that at time T animal A and animal B existed side by side; while at time T + 1 animal A is successful and animal B has disappeared? Obviously animal A was better adapted to the prevailing circumstances on Earth. For instance, if A was flying and B was not and the land was flooded, then A would thrive by flying to a new land but B drowned. This does not make A 'superior' to B. It makes A 'fitter' and able to adapt to new circumstances, most likely a climate change. We cannot say that because A was able to fly and survive, A is biologically 'superior'. If there had not been a climate change, B would have survive and may be taken over the world as our species did. The survivors are simply the ones that are most apt at the time of a climate change or during some natural disaster such as an asteroid hitting Earth. The 21st century will show whether or not it is possible for the human lifeform to control its own population using voluntary and benign family management and whether we will take along with us other lifeforms. If not, this century will produce a collapse of humanity and the environment on a global scale. The physical environment depends upon the content of the atmosphere, the heights and positions of mountains, and where the continents happen to be as they migrate around the world, and how the Earth is located in space relative to the sun. It is because the planet has behaved as it did that our species came into being. We have realized now that the climate is a crucial force in the evolution of all living things. During the period of time when conditions remain the same, the existing lifeforms seem to come to a consensus that encourages them to stay as they are. Conditions can be altered in several ways but the most devastating one is climate. The kind of changes that we are now threatening to make, that is the global warming, will change the physical environment forever and Earth will never be the same again. A small change in the atmosphere can have catastrophic effects. Some of these effects will happen within a decade others will follow within twenty years. There will be no time for any lifeform to adapt and survive. By changing the climate we influence the ecology and evolution of the whole world for the rest of time. The other lifeforms that have occupied Earth this past 100 million years helped to shape our evolution. We have evolved to cope with them, and we, in turn, have influenced them. No society has ever experienced the full range of enormity of which the Earth is capable. Two and a half billion years ago the composition of the Earth's atmosphere changed completely as free oxygen gas was introduced for the first time from the new organisms that practiced photosynthesis. Over the lifetime of the planet, continents have moved right across the surface of the globe, splitting and rejoining, floating like froth on the hot rock of the mantle beneath. There has already been at least a half dozen climate changes over the planet causing the entire fauna of the world to be transformed. The latest one was a small climate change and yet it wiped out the dinosaurs. In the troposphere and stratosphere some of the crucial roles are played by gases that are present in amounts so small that the highest of technologies are needed to detect them at all, and by unstable ingredients produced by human activities that persist for only a twinkling before they are converted to something else. Our effect on the atmosphere of the Earth is immense and out of control. Evolution is happening now. We are a part of it. Human beings have evolved like all other lifeforms. We have been affected by the evolution of other lifeforms and we are affecting them in our turn. We are all a part of the process of evolution. In fact we came late in the process as life started at least 4 billion years ago. They were billions of lifeforms of all kinds.
Do all lifeforms think?
Obviously they do! Our brains are much bigger than those of other lifeforms; they are more complex that is they contain more neurones which are connected to each other in more intricate ways. When we observe the world, our environment, we take into account more factors than other lifeforms and we are able to respond to any one of the factors in a greater variety of ways. We are also able to observe, analyze and infer the rules and laws of the behavior of the things around us. Science is a way of searching for those laws. Once human beings grew the ability to achieve such mental ability, our power over the other lifeforms, big and small, increased enormously. In our distant past, human beings may have been the cause for the disappearance of the biggest predator lifeforms on Earth. We probably use them as food. We became formidable and proficient hunters. We are probably the cause for the disappearance of millions of species of which we know nothing about nowaday. Only a few skeletons remain accessable for observation as witness of the past. Human beings have enormous stamina and we are better able than many lifeforms to tolerate daytime heat. To increase efficiency, we have also cooperate to hunt. Our logistic ability in hunting efficiency, brought about by memory, analysis, and cooperation, largely accounts for the disappearance of much larger predators. We killed and ate them all. And we had already mastered the use of fire a long time ago so cooking meat was making it much more pleasing and palatable. Fire had the effect of increasing the range of human diet even more widely. Later on farming not only widen our diet and thus increased our chances for survival but was the cause for creating the very first cities. Are we getting any closer to explaining how do other lifeforms think? Not yet! First of all how do we think? Is it human being think verbally and that other lifeforms think in some other way, or is there more to it than that? What is the relationship between thought and verbal language? Does human thought depend upon words? We may also ask the question does any sound produced by any lifeform depend upon the idea of the sound in the lifeform? Obviously not! We have mentioned in the Charter of the Earth Community, section 1. Compliance with the Divine Will, that "We will assist humanity in its evolution. A new beginning! All possibilities stand in front of us, and we can create anything we want in accordance with the higher purpose of the Soul of Humanity. Our mind will link and merge with the mind of the Soul of Humanity thus enabling us to synthesize knowledge and information in a flash. Our mind will be filled with new ideas, revelations, that reflect God's ideals, and we will see God's Pure Light. We will feel the radiating Love from the Soul of Humanity, its gentleness, its kindness, its compassion, its forgiveness, its serenity, a sense of deep Peace, and its creative intelligence pouring into us. Spirit is within each one of us. There is an inner Peace within Spirit, a pure awareness of all of humanity, all Life, and of all the Universe. Spirit knows the Divine Will or Will of God. It is in contact with God the Creator of the Universe (the universal mind)." "Thus enabling us to synthesize knowledge and information in a flash" means we dont always think with words and words are not the necessary raw materials of thought. The thoughts themselves flow in us as in other lifeforms. They flow in our brain and make contact with words or we label them as words. Because words are labels attached to ideas, we can manipulate words as if they were ideas themselves. That is the human way, other lifeforms have other ways. We do not think in words. If we did how is it that it would take us hours, or days, to express and explain one thought to a colleague? Again let us use the same section of the Charter of the Earth Community. It says: "The Light of God's Spirit flows into the Soul of Humanity and into each one of us. Every human being will now live a life through the eyes of the Soul of Humanity and, as a group, according to the Divine Will and inspired by Love. Every human being will identify with the Soul of Humanity thus making possible to understand the unique place we have in the Universe and the special higher purpose we have to accomplish as a group. We will become aware of all other Souls throughout the Universe. Our expanding consciousness is important for humanity. We will blend our consciousness with that of the Soul of Humanity. It is important that new activities be created that is of value to the Soul of Humanity. ECO will assist the group effort in pursuing those actions that represent humanity's higher purpose and our identification with Life. We will learn to serve humanity and radiate the Will of God to others."It is simply God's Spirit that is within us, the universal mind, that makes us and all lifeforms conscious. All lifeforms are conscious of thinking to some degree that is different from lifeform to lifeform. Human being are becoming more conscious of this universal mind. Through consciousness we know that we are thinking. Through verbal language we tell ourselves that this is the case. Our possession of verbal language seems to make us more conscious than any other lifeforms. Our conscious thoughts are mostly verbal. By blending our consciousness with that of the Soul of Humanity we will be able to perceive the nature of the consciousness for the purpose of self examination. Other lifeforms have language as well. They have the ability to convey ideas by means of symbols that the receiver understands. We have already mentioned sounds, but they can be sights, odors, etc. These ideas can be saying to the recipient "There is food here", "I am here", "There is danger", and so on. These ideas can be much more complicated. Human beings have a greater capacity for abstraction than other lifeforms. We can invent sentences that have never been written before and express new thoughts that have never been expressed before. We certainly did a lot of that during Global 2000 and Global Dialogue 2002. Who has ever heard of the Scale of Human and Earth Rights? And the Earth Court of Justice to prosecute the United States Government for creating global warming, a threat to the survival of life on Earth. The Earth Court of Justice handling problems between nations and the creation of new nations. Hundreds more new thoughts noone has ever thought before. The United Nations never thought that Justice could be and should be for everyone, every nation and everywhere, a universal constant. There should be no exception to Justice especially the United States. What our language has and other lifeforms do not, is syntax, the pattern or structure of the word order in a sentence and phrase. By applying the syntactical rules we convey meaning by word order. Other lifeforms can convey meaning by other means such as an olfactory language, visual language, chemical signals, and so on. But, apparently, they cannot place their signals in categories and hierarchies and thus convert their vocabularies of signals into anything that resembles a human language. But they can do it in other ways. The human language allows us to communicate any thought from one individual to another. This hability has in turn allowed us to create communities locally and globally. We have become the human family with a global consciousness and a unique Soul, the Soul of Humanity.
It has become a necessity to implement a total and global embargo on all American consumer products, goods and services, and mass destruction chemicals, nuclear war heads, weapons, war products and war equipment.
The war industry throughout the world must be put to a complete halt and shelved forever from humanity. The Earth Community is asking
all peoples never again to buy American products.
What are the reasons for this total embargo? The United States have lost credibility as a nation able to lead others. They have opted out of resolving the problems of global warming and going along with all other nations by ratifying the Kyoto Protocol. They have requested the International Court not to include their military as they dont want their soldiers to be taken to Court. In order word, Justice is for everyone else but not for them. They have created hate in the Middle East, the most ancient civilization and they expect the Earth Community to go along with them and pay for a war they are creating for the purpose of taking over the oil resources of the Middle East and, eventually, destroying China. China, another ancient civilization, is their next objective. Americans are obviously racists. They want the destruction of all ancient civilizations. They also have no respect for the survival of the human species and of all other lifeforms on Earth. They are a culture of violence and war. They are bullies. The world is wiser and will not harm the United States and the American people. But we will stop them as bullies must be stopped. Humanity has no need for bullies especially when they have the biggest nuclear arsenal and other weapons of mass destruction in the world. The way things are going now, after they take over the Middle East, Americans will make Adolph Hitler look like a kid in the block. Like President Bush said many times we have to prevent the worst to happen. The worst is for Americans to continue their work of destruction and nation predators. I may be the only Canadian who will stand for Justice in the world but here 'I am Canadian'. I speak also on behalf of the Earth Community, the human family. America no longer stands for Peace, freedom, Justice and democracy. You no longer stand for any of those values. You broke away from those values a while ago and I'm here to remind you of them. America can no longer be seen as a good representative nation of the world. Asides from invading other nations you refuse to ratify the Kyoton Protocol as has done the international community and yet you are asking for help from this same community to go to war which itself is the next most destructive action of the environment. This is insane! The Earth Court of Justice has an action against all nations that have not ratify the agreement. We may not have the resources to enforce Justice but we know you are all guilty of the worst crimes. In our September 2002 Newsletter, we have explained how the American Government never applied ethical and moral values in the activities of their trade in the Middle East. They have made trade a despicable act of dealing with one another between human beings and between nations. No laws! No regulations! No ethics! No moral responsibility and accountability! Everyone has the "freedom" of destroying the global life-support systems! Everyone has the "freedom" of human rights abuses! Now pollution, diseases, terrorism, poverty, social and economic injustice have no boundaries. American have brought disgrace to humanity by their selfish, immoral, unethical, incoherent, inconsistent, dishonnest, erratic, and mostly aimed at making money behavior in the Middle East and towards Afghanistan. And yes it is your behavior that brought up September 11. It is about time you say me-aculpa. Canadians know Americans in their guts. We have been invaded a long time ago. This is about to change. If it all depended on me I would close my border, from coast to coast, to all Americans and their goods and services. We dont need you! We never did! It was your dis-information department that created the illusion that we needed you. Canada can do without you in every way! We dont need of your culture of violence. At age of six an American child has seen so much violence on television that he or she could give the chill to any child born in the Middle East. You are useless to Canada! But you need us. You badly need of our resources. For the protection of life globally, I would triple the prices of our coal, oil, natural gas and electricity, wood products, and of our basic food products including freshwater. You also need us to treat you like kings of the house even though you are bullies with no hearts and Souls. And you can keep your money! Stay home as Canadians are having a party tonight and we dont want it spoiled by bullies. In 1947, you have coerced the United Nations in creating the State of Israel. This was completely illegal and arbitrary. The Jews of Israel and their religious beliefs are the Trojan Horse for invading the Middle East and surroundings nations.All an illusion about an invading military force disguided as a democracy and defending the principles of freedom and democracy, and the land given to them by God himself. Back then your hidden agenda was and still is today the invasion of the Middle East and the exploitation of the oil resources. Invasion of the Middle East will give you a base to break up China into provinces as was done with the USSR. Exploitation of the oil resources will keep your economy healthy for the next thousand years. That's was your plan then and is still now. The only problem with your plan is that you have lost your mind, your heart and your Soul in the process. You are not the kind of leader the world wants or needs. You are the Prince of Evil himself. You are the darkness. You have lost credibility! The values you are now promoting are no longer Justice for All, freedom and democracy. They are dictatorship and war. They are the destruction of the global life-support systems of the planet, and of all life. We will stop you! We will bring down the American economy and we will split America into several states free to live at peace with the rest of the world. Justice! Justice is a universal value. It is for everyone, everywhere in the world. We want Justice in the Middle East, not another invasion. We want the Earth Court of Justice to handle Justice. We dont want of a puppet Higher Court that would be anything like the tribunal of the WTO or the Internation Court. They are a mockery of Justice. We dont want the United Nations to be in charge of Justice because you have coerced the UN organization ever since its creation into doing your five wishes. We want the annulment of the special privileges of the Five Permanent Members of the UN. We want one vote per million people. Your five wishes are done with now. You no longer have any more wishes. We want Justice at the UN and that mean to reorganize the UN as a democracy. You have lost all respect of most nations of our world. ECO has explained to you over and over again the problems you are creating in the world. Many times we have explained to you that Earth is like a space ship with its own life-support systems and that they are being threatened by your Way of Life. Global warming is here and now! Life is being threatened by your way of life and get on with solving your problems just like everyone else on the planet. You cannot be a leader for the good of the planet. We no longer want nations to be invaded. Humanity has no need of bullies. You have not even got to the point to realize that September 11 was your doing alone. Along with the British and the Russians you have created hate in the Middle East and you have given to trade a bad reputation, a bad name. You have diminished the way of doing business to being a trade between tugs. Along with the World Bank, the IMF, the UN, and the WTO you are making the world increasingly insecure and at war. The Earth Community, the human family , is asking all Peoples of the world to stand for those values we know are designed to protect the global life-support systems and peace. We have to tell our friends, the American People, that have taken the wrong direction and that their behavior is no longer acceptable. Justice is for everyone a universal constant. The Earth Court of Justice will see to that. The protection of the global life-support systems is everyone affairs and everyone must cooperate all they can. The Scale of Human and Earth Rights was designed to sustain us and all other lifeforms we want and can take along with us for the next million years. The Earth Community, the human family, is asking all Peoples not to buy American products directly or indirectly.`We want our message be felt in their economy and maybe they will realize a better and wiser course of action. We want the Canadian border from coast to coast be closed completely until they have changed their course of action.
Free trade and the Way of Life of the West that is, the way of doing business, have been given a bad reputation in the world, especially in the Middle East where oil and arms sales have always been
strategic interests of several Western nations. The West has relentlessly exploited the oil producing nations of the Middle East. By their behavior and ways of doing things, America and the European Union nations have shown that free trade and globalization
meant the absence of ethical and moral values, the absence of responsibility and accountability to products and people, abuses of human rights, cause for terrorism, social and economic injustice, poverty, and pollution. They have given to trade a bad name. The Earth Community
is requesting all members of the World Trade Organization(WTO) to change their ways by:
1. building social and environmental concerns into the WTO trade rules; 2. including ethical and moral values, responsibility and accountability in all situations and places; 3. developing a global regulatory framework for capitals and corporations; 4. making a transition from global competition to global co-operation which allows communities the freedom to pursue social and environmental objectives; 5. assuring that globalization and planetary trading blocks serve the Earth Community, the Human Family; and 6. developing a method of raising global taxes, of redistributing incomes to the poorest communities, of providing debt-free technical assistance to non-industrial and developing countries to help them out of poverty and to meet environmental and social standards. The WTO tribunal is illegal and arbitrary. It is not a Higher Court such as the Earth Court of Justice. It has no base for Justice. Global Ministries are world wide organizations just like the WTO for trade and therefore should have the same power to rule on cases as that of the World trade Organization (WTO). The Earth Community Organization has already created several global ministries. The most obvious ones are the Earth Ministry of Justice, the Earth Ministry of the Environment for Global Environmental Governance and the Earth Resources Ministry. We have the responsibility of managing Earth. The partnership of government, civil society, and business is essential for an effective global governance based on global concepts and the Scale of Human and Earth Rights. The Earth Community Organization (ECO) has created the Earth Resources Ministry for Earth Governance. ECO is also proposing the creation of several other global ministries for the management of Earth (energy, agriculture, environment, health, Earth resources, Earth management, security and safety, trade, peace, family and human development, water resources protection, family and human development, water resources protection, youth, education, justice, science and technology, finance, human resources, ethics, human and Earth rights, sustainable development, industry and manufacturing products, etc.). Each ministry would have a similar power to rule as that given to the WTO organization. The creation of global ministries is a part of the "Belief, Values, Principles and Aspirations of the New Age" (see the Charter of the Earth Community on our website). The Earth Court of Justice will prosecute cases stemming from the global ministries. Prosecuting is based on: a) the Scale of Human and Earth Rights ECO has summarized the rights of every person on Earth by developing the Scale of Human and Earth Rights. The scale will eventually be replacing the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The Earth Court of Justice will be hearing cases submitted the Court by the Global Ministries. Divine Will has caused the event of the New Age Civilization, the age of symbiotical relationships and global cooperation. ECO has begun to establish the existence of the New Age Civilization all over the planet. An economically base symbiotical relationship exists between nations of the European Union. Other types may be created all over the world between communities, nations, and between people themselves. They may be geographical, economical, social, business-like, political, religious, and personal. There has always been symbiotical relationships in Nature, and between Souls and the matter of the universe to help creating Earth and life on Earth to better serve God. National governments and large corporations have taken the wrong direction by asserting that free trade in the world is about competing economically without any moral safeguards and accountability to peoples and the environment. The proper and only way is for free trade to become a global cooperation between all nations. The Earth Community is proposing a solution that the process of trading within the planetary trading blocks be changed from a spirit of global competition to that of global economic cooperation. This is the new way of doing business, the new way of life. Just like for other global ministries, we are also proposing that the Earth Court of Justice is the only higher Court to prosecute criminals stemming from trade. In the light of the U.S.A., Canada, Japan and Russia refusal of taking actions to avert certain global calamity in regard to global warming, the Earth Community has decided to try these nations for their crimes against humanity. We have asked them to ratify the Kyoto Protocol as it is. Greenhouse gases are accumulating in the Earth's atmosphere as a result of human activities, and temperatures are rising globally due to these activities. There are plenty of observable effects of the global warming. And certainly this ridiculous and false solution of buying environmental credits from each other should not be considered as a way out of resolving the problem. The ratification is only a beginning to protect the global life-support systems. There is much more to do! But those four countries are not even coming close to a first start in resolving the problem. And they are amongst the worst polluters on the planet. The Earth Court of Justice has listed America as the first nation to be prosecuted for a global environmental crime. Because the leader of the USA was responsible for not ratifying the Kyoto Protocol, and because his leadership is questionably believed to be base on his religious believes (see Article in May 2002 Newsletter: Leadership of a nation and religion, President George W. Bush will be first to appear in Court. The reality here is that every American is on trial here. Every consumer producing the deadly gas causing global warming is on trial. The same goes for every person on Earth producing the deadly gas. The gas is just as deadly as the gas that murdered millions of Jews during World War II. It is even more deadly as it is destroying the global life-support systems of all life on Earth. We are killing billions of human beings and countless life species. Americans have closed their conscience to the reality of life on Earth. They are showing a bad example to the other nations of the world. Even Canada is following in their steps. Justice must prevail to stop the "killing fields". And therefore they are guilty as charge. It is a crime against humanity and all life on Earth not to ratify the Kyoto Protocol. It is a terrible crime against the global life-support systems, against the very existence of the next generations. On the Scale of Human and Earth Rights, the crime is of maximum importance. There is no need to wait for the election of the Earth Government to create the Earth Court of Justice. The Court can be formed now and incorporated to the Earth Government later. Prosecuting criminals on the basis of universal jurisdiction regardless of a territorial or nationality nexus required a solid commitment of political will from national governments and Earth Community. Once in effect, the Earth Court of Justice will become the principal judicial organ of the Earth Community. The Court will have a dual role: to settle in accordance with international law the legal disputes submitted to it by national governments, local communities, and in some special cases by corporations, non-government-organizations and citizens, and to give advisory opinions on legal questions referred to it by duly authorized organs and agencies. The Court will be composed of judges elected by the Elected Representatives Council and Earth Security Council. It may not include more than one judge of any nationality. The Members of the Court do not represent their governments but are independent magistrates. The judges must possess the qualifications required in their respective countries for appointment to the highest judicial offices, or by jurists of recognized competence in international law. The composition of the Court has also to reflect the main forms of civilization and the principal legal systems of the world. The Earth Court of Justice will hear cases involving: * nation states The procedure followed by the Court is defined in its Statute. The Court decides in accordance with: * belief, values, principles and aspirations of the New Age, The Statute of the Earth Court of Justice will be established later. The Earth Court of Justice established by the Charter of the Earth Community as the principal organ of the Earth Community shall be constituted and shall function in accordance with the provisions of the Statute.
Several times in the past we have let America know we disapprove of their policies in the world. ECO has made it clear that we disapprove of war of any kind for any reason.
War is the greatest violation of human rights that one people can inflict on another. It brings deaths and injuries, starvation, diseases, millions of people
losing their homes and livelihoods, and massive destruction of property.
The worst environmental degradation happens in wars. Farm products in fields and livestock are abandoned, there is no more control on toxic wastes, and water, air, and land are polluted. People are displaced and feel no longer responsible for the quality of life in their communities. Historically, the industrialized nations have caused the most damage to the environment, with their careless technology and policies. Emissions from factories and vehicles have caused ozone depletion and acid rain. Leaders of the wealthier nations must be willing to accept responsibility for past mistakes and to help pay the financial burden for environmental protection of the developing nations. This is the most damaging conflict of interests between the rich industrialized countries and those that are poor and struggling just for existence. The Earth Community must help wealthy and poorer nations reach a better understanding of each other's needs. All aspects are interrelated: peace, human rights and the environment. The poor is more concerned with ending starvation, finding a proper shelter and employment, and helping their children to survive. Environmental issues become meaningless to the poor. In reality, all concerns are interrelated. As soon as the environment is destroyed beyond repair, human suffering is next. Ecology has no boundaries. All nations suffer the effects of air pollution, global warming, loss of biodiversity, soil erosion, acid rain, ozone depletion, silting of streams, and countless of other environmental problems. This was the reason for proposing to the Earth Community the Scale of Human and Earth Rights. The responsibility of a peacemaker is to settle differences through compromise and negotiation before they erupt into violence. Conflicting views do not have to bring about fighting. War is an irreversible solution to a problem. War is never an appropriate solution to resolve a conflict. The Earth Community wants to provide a forum where international conflicts could be argued and resolved peacefully. Because of hatred and mistrust, disputing parties always find it difficult to express constructive ideas or proposals. A face-to-face meeting may not even be possible. The Earth Community offers to be a trusted third party that would carry ideas back and forth, put forward new proposals until both sides agree. When both parties feel they have gained more than they have lost from the process, the outcome is a win-win settlement for peace. We are proposing to the people of America and Irak to come to the table for discussion before war arises. We will help you. We understand your problems in America. We have studied America's Way of Life: * global warming is OK because it will cost us less money to heat up our home in the winter time
It makes no sense that the United Nations would only ask inspectors to verify facilities in Irak and nowhere else.
Let us say here that the only nation, so far, that has used nuclear weapons on an other nation is the United States. America was first in creating the bomb and to destroy cities in Japan. Ever since that time America has built up the greatest nuclear arsenal in human history. Other nations followed up to fill the gap of balance of power between themselves and America. How is it that inspectors are not being sent to every nation of the world? How is it that noone at the United Nations do not even suggest or make a resolution to that effect? We all know the answer to that! The United Nations are a dictatorship with the US as their leader. The United Nations can be restructured completely by just passing a resolution to that effect during a general meeting and the Security Council could be reorganized to reflect truly the will of all the Peoples. This can and should be done. Many resolutions, including shelving of the nuclear arsenal of all nations, would be passed as they would reflect the will of the Peoples, not the will of Americans.
This 21st century is very crucial for humanity as it will determine our survival or not for the next million year. The Earth Community Organization is
proposing to the world a way to achieve our survival. The policies described in this article are by no means the only ones and we do need the global community to
send suggestions and recommendations.
Earth has existed for the past 4.5 billion years. Life on Earth has existed for almost 4 billion years. Human activities are influencing the climate to change in many ways. We have transformed entire landscapes. Although our influence is huge oour control is minimal. Having initiated the breakdown of the Ozone layer and having set the global warming of the planet in motion it will be hard to reverse these events. History shows that the beneficence of the planet cannot be taken for granted. It has always been hospitable to life of a kind, but not always of our kind. The kind of conditions that suit us are very narrow and our influence is far greater than our control. We are creating global conditions that are threatening all life on Earth. Our manipulations of the Earth atmosphere may generate conditions that could be suitable to only to bacteria in marshes. It is an enormous mistake to take our present good fortune as a given. The humans species has to regulate its population by means that are voluntary and benign and has to take along with a fair proportion of other lifeforms. Proper Earth management will certainly be a necessary tool to achieve our goal. If not there will be a collapse of humanity and of the environment. From now on every global decision we do will have tremendous consequences on our future. In general, populations of all lifeforms grow exponentially that is by a steady proportion of whatever was there before. When there is no practical limit on resource then populations usually grow maximally and the only limit is that of the reproductive capacity of the female animal. About 10,000 years ago, human beings were obliged to commit themselves more or less fully to agriculture and the human population was 5 to 10 million. By the time of Christ, after only 8,000 years of large-scale agriculture, the human population was 100 to 300 million. After this time, the exponential growth of the population entered its rapid phase. The billion mark was passed by 1800 A.D. By year 2000, the human population exceeded 6 billion. Thus agriculture allowed a thousand-fold increase in numbers over a period of 10,000 years. In practical sense, agriculture cannot feed a human population that has grown beyond the capacity limit. We must ask ourselves whether we can stop the growth by means that are voluntary and benign, or whether the eventual environmental restraint will be out of our hands. At some questionable time in our future we will find that our soil will no longer have the nutrients it needs to produce quality food. For some time we may counter this problem by fresh weathering of rock. Not for long! The loss of lifeforms on Earth will be permanent. Obviously something has to be done! ECO proposes a tight global policy, benignly implemented, or it will be very nasty indeed. In practice, a human population of 10 to 12 billion would be too uncomfortably high and would add a high strain on world resources. What kind of world population would be reasonable? What goal should we aim at? A population should be small enough to be sustainable indefinitely and still allow plenty of leeway for ourselves and other lifeforms. It should also be large enough to allow the formation of healthy civilizations. We propose a world population of 500 million. The policy to apply is for every family to have only one or two children. It would take a thousand years to reach our goal of a population of 500 million. Some religious people will argue that to reduce human reproduction is to prevent the birth of possible babies, to deny life for the glory of God, and that more babies means more glory. We understand this view as we have discussed the sanctity of all life during Global 2000 and Global Dialogue 2002. Proceedings are on our website. Read section 'Evolution, Creation and now, Guiding Souls'. God loves diversity in Nature and in Souls. Let us discuss those legitimate concerns. A short while ago God said: It was necessary for our species to reach today's population of 6.157 billions in order to leap to our next stage of evolution that will bring us closer to God and propel humanity to fulfill the Divine Plan. What is the Divine Plan for humanity? The Divine Plan is the greatest hope for humanity and is now being revealed. God could not have created a universe with billions of galaxies, each one with billions of stars such as our Sun, unless He had a plan for Life, especially for an advanced species such as ours. We have the responsibility of managing Earth. Everyone shares responsibility for the present and future well-being of life within Earth Community. When there is a need to find a solution to a problem or a concern, a sound solution would be to choose a measure or conduct an action, if possible, which causes reversible damage as oppose to a measure or an action causing an irreversible loss. Life exists on millions of other planets in the universe, and our species got to be who we are today through the evolutionary process. Other lifeforms in the universe may have evolved to be at least as advanced as our species. Their Souls may even be more complicated than ours. They may have merged a trillion times more than our Souls. They may have evolved as well. The Divine Plan for humanity is: a) for everyone to manage Earth responsibly, andThe higher purpose of humanity is to serve God by propagating Life throughout the universe. Humanity will evolve spiritually to fulfill God's Plan. Soon God will show us the way to reach the galaxies. Our proposal of a world population of 500 million does not in any way contradict God's Plan for humanity. On the contrary, it reinforces the Will of God for the diversity of Life throoughout the universe. By accomplishing our higher purpose we will be able to propagate trillions of liferforms and much more over the universe. Beside, with such a small population, there is no doubt that our species would last at least a million years. That is 0.5 x billion x 1 million = 0.5 x 10 15 person-years But if we let our population rise to about 20 billion then we may not survive more that 1,000 years or so. That is 20 billion x 1,000 thousand = 2 x 10 13 person-years In order words, if we exercise restraint the total number of human beings who will be on the planet could be at least 25 times greater than it would be if we allowed the population to increase to 20 billion. Who, then, are those who deny life for the glory of God? In practice, if our proposal of one or two children was accepted then the population would eventually fall. We would make all efforts to minimize infant mortality. We need to ensure that the women of the world who have shown an interest in the proposal of family planning would have access to all the help needed to achieve their goal. Contraception for men is also desirable. If that is still possible, what are those other lifeforms we should take along with us? The creatures we are most directly aware, the grand survivors of the overkill by the human species over the past several million years, are bears, beavers, elephants, mooses, lions, rhinos, wolves, tigers, camels, kangaroos, deer, camels, antelope, cheetahs, coyotes, koalas, and others you may want to add. None of them has a chance to survive in the wild, unless we take their cause seriously. Even then it will be difficult to keep them with us for a long future. The Scale of Human and Earth Rights was designed to protect the ecosystem of the Earth and that certainly includes do what we can to take along with us as many God's creatures as possible. The Scale of Human and Earth Rights takes first into account all reasonable needs of the human species. On top of the scale are the protection of the global life-support systems without which no life could survive on the planet. Then the primordial human rights are those basic human rights that have kept us going throughout the evolutionary stages of life on Earth. Beside the global warming, the human activity that affects Earth most is that of food production. We need to form a global ministry dealing only about agriculture and the protection of our soils. All nations will be part of the ministry. We have to design systems of food production that meet our own needs, and also leave room for these other lifeforms we want to take along with us. Western agriculture is designed in the end to maximize profit. As a primordial human right, the prime concern of the human species is to feed people. Therefore we have to do things differently. We will have to produce less livestock as we effectively double the population we need to feed: ourselves, plus the livestock that is supposed to be feeding us. We also have to apportion the land surface of the whole world more efficiently, using some for highhly intensive food production (which makes use of less land), some for extensive agriculture (combining food production with wildlife conservation) and designing some specifically as wilderness areas with global corridors between them. Hopefully this will help natives of British Columbia, Canada, to settle their land claims in their favor as they are the only people in Canada who can help protecting wildlife, at least for now. There should be a definite and specific clause in any agreement with the natives that it is what they will do with the land and not turn it into a huge industrial site as would the white man do. Global warming is certainly affecting the survival of these other lifeforms we want to take along with us over the next million years. Climate change has always been a major factor throughout the entire evolutionary stages of life on Earth and will continue to be so in the future. We will have to make sacrifices not only for our own survival but also for all life on Earth. Changes now are far too rapid for these other lifeforms to adapt. They will have to tolerate us more to survive. Obviously our survival on Earth and that of these other lifeforms are dependent on our behavior and attitude to the world. This point was largely discussed during Global 2000 and Global Dialogue 2002. ECO has researched and developed sound solutions to humanity's problems and recommendations are made available on our website. Our new ideas are part of life natural selection process and will be passed on from generation to generation. The human gene pool is changing naturally worldwide. We ourselves are in a position to change our species and create a new one depending of natural circumstances. Because the human population is now so large, mutations are accumulating more rapidly than ever before over the entire evolutionary stages of our species. This do not necessary means we are evolving to become smarter people. That is an unlikely option. It means we are adapting to new circumstances. Evolution will be active most likely in circumstances occurring after an ecological crash or a world war involving nuclear weapons. Such catastrophic events might eliminate all life as we know it on Earth. But we cannot predict which particular lifeforms are liable to evolve and be dominant species. Our brain may be turned off by an evolutionary step for survival, to adapt to the new circumstances. That is if we survive as a species after such huge ecological change. But then we dont really know of what life is capable of...! What life has created so far on Earth may be a small sample of what it is capable of in the future. Whatever happen in this 3rd Millennium, which we have called the New Age Civilization of the 3rd Millennium, will depend of us and to what extent we are willing to make a difference to manage Earth wisely. Will our actions be geared to survive a decade, a hundred years, a thousand years, or a million years? To a politician, a week is a long time. To an economist, thirty years is the 'long term'. Politicians and economists deal only in desperately
trivial twinklings of time. To a pessimistic person, in the long run we are all dead so why bother. To a religious person, we are all here
on Earth for the glory of God but eternal life is after we passed away so why bother.
Why bother? Why will it matter whatever we do now on Earth when there eternal life next? This is also a pessimistic view. A large cross-section of people think that way. It just seems that life is defeated before even trying to fight for our survival. Unless God gives these people new Revelations about the worth of managing Earth than life does not stand a chance. When we think about life on Earth we must think as a matter of course in very long periods of time. History can help us understand ourselves and what is happening to us, and our impact upon the rest of the world, only when we look at ourselves on the grand scale of time. As members of families, we note the passing generations. Historians traditionally deal in centuries. For the most part we are unaware of the deep rhythms that lie beneath naturally occurring events, rhythms that must be measured in millennia, or in millions of years, or in tens of millions of years. We have a huge effect upon all life on Earth and the fabric of the planet itself yet we are vaguely aware of the rhythms. From an engineering point of view that is totally unacceptable. If Earth was seen as a spaceship whith specific life-support systems, to think of those rhythms would be of outmost importance. The knowledge and understanding of the rhythms would determine our policies now, today. Even though our lives are so brief, a million years should be a proper unit of political time. Politicians would become in a way engineers who can think not only a week at a time but can also think ahead a million years. We all know we are rapidly wiping out our fellow species on Earth. We tend to think that this present-day destructiveness is just an anomaly and that in the fullness of time the world will settle down again into some form that may be slightly different from the present but nonetheless agreable. Not so! By changing the climate as we do we influence the ecology and evolution of the whole world for the rest of time. It is important to understand that the way climate behaves, the extreme of which it is capable of, and the ways in which it can be influenced. Yet when we look at our own history as human beings and briefly at the 100 million years or so of prehistory, we see how dangerous this complacency is, the sheer precariousness of our existence and of all other lifeforms. Small events today can have huge global consequences that can change the flora and fauna of the whole world. So people at least are bothered now by global warming and know that nothing can ever be the same again. But what is the cause of it? Just a rise in concentration of a gas in the atmosphere that in any case is present in barely more than a trace. That is all it takes to change the climate of the world. When we look at our own history and prehistory we see this very effect in action and the results. Without such effects, this time in reverse, that is, a loss in greenhouse gases rather than a gain, our own species probably would not have come into existence. Earth as it stands now is a miraculous jewel of a place, an oasis in an infinitely hostile and diverse universe, Shangrila. We are just becoming to see what a dangerous game we are playing. More specifically we begin to see how inadequate it is to think only in shorth periods of time, and to be satisfied with politics and policies of economics that deal only with the here and now. Over the past several years the Earth Community Oragnization has fought the economic systems of the world requiring that the FTAA, the EU and the WTO be governed by the Scale of Human and Earth Rights and the Charter of the Earth Community. The Scale was designed for the survival of our species and that of other lifeforms we want to take along with us over a period of one million years.
The United Nations can be restructured completely by just passing a resolution to that effect during a general meeting
and the Security Council could be reorganized to reflect truly the will of all the Peoples. The UN are an organization where politicians from
all over the world meet to discuss matter concerning relationships between themselves. At least that is what it is supposed to be. But that is not what they do.

That is what we have observed ever since its creation. The US are manipulating the UN. Why is it their is no democracy at the UN? Because if there was then the US would be outvoted. The US rather be a dictator than to have to campaign amongst nations to have them voting for their proposals. America dont mind democracy at home but they sure dont want to have to campaign all over the world to be in charge at the UN. That would mean the poor nations would have votes of substance that could influence the way of doing things all over the planet. Then maybe we would see Justice in the world. It would be easy to change this state of affairs. It takes one single nation to propose a resolution to that effect and having a vote about it during a general assembly. All it takes is 50% plus one of the votes. Then you have a democratic vote. Dont worry about what the Five Permanent Members will say. You can have your own organization by a simple vote no matter what the rules are. If not you can walk out and start your own organization without the Five Permanent Members. It only takes you the courage to do it.

We have said that America is a nation bully and a nation predator. Since these are new expressions it is only fair we explain what they mean. Let us first discuss what we mean by 'a nation bully'. Bullying another nation is a conscious and wilful act of aggression and/or manipulation by one or more nations against another nation, community, or civilization. Bullying can last for a short period or go on for years, and is an abuse of power by those who carry it out. It is sometimes premeditated, and sometimes opportunistic, sometimes directed mainly towards one victim, and sometimes occurs serially and randomly. Bullying by a nation is a cowardly act because it is done to cause hurt without fear of recrimination. The victimised nation is unlikely to retaliate effectively, if at all. Bullying relies on those who are marginally involved, often referred to as observers, onlookers, or watchers, doing nothing to stop the bullying or becoming actively involved in supporting it. We know most of the media industry is own by American investors who are themselves involved in bullying or at least make a profit in publishing the side of the bullying nation(s) thus reinforcing the cause of the bullies. The United Nations are an organization that has been the site of bullying by America on the other nations. The creation of the State of Israel, war against Afghanistan and Irak and countless other examples show the bullying skill and power of America. Bullying contains the following elements: * harm is intended Bullying another nation is often an antisocial and criminal behavior. Criminal offences should be handled by the Earth Court of Justice. Bully nations have power over their victims. The process of exclusion an humiliation that is inherent in bullying almost guarantees that the victim will not be able to stand up to the bully nation(s).Any efforts to do so become part of the fuel that inflames the bully nation. The situation is characterized by menace and an imbalance of power. It invites further humiliation for the victim and an escalation of violence. Bullying another nation is an abusive and humiliating behavior. It is neither character-forming nor good for anyone in any way. Those who stand up to bullying are just as likely to be hit down. Those nations that state bullying of a nation is normal and acceptable are either deluded or bullies themselves. One may ask if the United Nations are responsible for a culture of bullying of nations. The UN never reprimande America and Britain for their bullying behavior. Why? Bullies want to dominate others. Nation bullies want to dominate other nations. NATO members are nation bullies. The very existence of NATO is a statement of what they are. They attempt to control other nations in many ways. They may engage in a number of aggressive behaviors from verbally taunting other nations, calling them evils, and spreading vicious rumors among the Earth Community, to threatening other nations, sometimes even carrying out such threats. Bully nations are very good at selecting those nations that are likely victims. For instance, America chose Afghanistan without any tangible, solid proofs of their allegations. No case was brought to the Earth Court of Justice to substantiate their claims. Ultimately, some victims will give in to the demands of the bullies, thereby reinforcing this socially unacceptable behavior. Bully nations learn rapidly that aggression works for them. It is imperative that bullying be stopped within the Earth Community. It can create a hell on Earth for a nation that is victimised (America and Britain have victimised a large number of nations over their history), and can seriously threaten that nation's opportunities in life. And, equally important, the social climate of a place on Earth is a model of the world outside. It is where people develop a large part of their morality, their understanding of how the world works, and their sense of responsibility towards the society they live in. What type of nation would willingly inflict harm on others? Bully nations engage in their behavior because it makes them feel important.They are usually insecure people who need to make themselves feel good by making others feel bad. Hence, they usually have good self-esteem. Bully nations have learned that by being physically aggressive is a way to get what they want, a way to control people, other nation. They have learned this behavior during World War I and II. They have witnessed that Hitler got what he wanted for a long time by being a bully nation. American and British Peoples just follow into his steps. Most bully nations remain bully nations for a long time. Bully nations may also learn their behavior from inappropriate role models on television and in the movies. Bully nations do not outgrow this behavior. They are more likely to be involved with the criminal justice system and tending to be more abusive over time. For instance, the Earth Court of Justice has a strong case against America and all other nations that have not ratified the Kyoto Protocol even though the Earth Community has done so. America also want its military to be abstained from being tried in Court. America likes to force Justice (its Justice) into other nations but America do not want Justice applied to itself. Typical bully nation behavior! How do we help bully nations to change their behavior for one that in line for the survival of all life on Earth, in line with the human family, with the Scale of Human and Earth Rights, the Charter of the Earth Community? 1. Improve the normal reasoning abilities of the bully nation. Bully nations have armed themselves with the most destructive weapons ever imagined by human beings. They have now built the war industry to make such weapons of mass destruction. They own the media industry which they use for dis-information of the American public and other nations. They make other nations follow into their steps and buy thier weapons, war product and equipment. They profess a culture of violence and war as the Way of Life, the American Way of Life is the best there is. They make trillions of dollars by selling their products to other nations. Throughout the 20th Century, the war industry has created the worse evil humanity has ever encountered: the business of conflicts and wars. It is a business that has made trillions of dollars (American) and will continue to do so. It is the "mother of all evils" created by human beings. It has no moral value, no understanding about Life, no respect for anyone or anything, no law except the ones that it makes for itself, and all its products are meant to kill and destroy. It has sold its products to the enemies for the purpose of making more profit. It has subdued governments all over the world to make them buy its products. It has given trade and way of doing business a bad reputation and, therefore, it is a threat to the establisment of business. Although the war industry has a good public image, it does not really matter who is the buyer as long as he pays good money. The proof of this reality was easily verified by finding out what war products and equipment were being used by Iran, Irak, Afghanistan, and other Middle East countries. Over 90% of all war products and equipment were made in the USA, Britain, Germany, France and Russia. Four out of five of these countries are Permanent Members of the United Nations and that means they have almost a 100% control on any proposal submitted to the organization. The fifth Permanent Member missing here is China. Shortly after the September 11 event, the UN Security Council has approved war against the people of Afghanistan. To get China to vote YES they gave China a membership in the World Trade Organization(WTO). Let us now discuss what we mean by 'a nation predator'. A nation predator is a nation that feeds on other nations for its own survival and practices the exploitation of the people and of the resources in those other nations. Eventually a nation predator will invade other nations to control resources they need for their own survival. A nation predator would also invade another nation for the sole purpose of gaining popularity at home before an election. The Middle East is a good example of such behavior. We have discussed in several articles the historical aspects of events happening in the Middle East. Today the United States with Israel are the only outsiders invading the Middle East countries. These outsiders are shaping the political evolution of the Middle East and the destinies of every Moslem country and Afghanistan. Everything, including oil prices (OPEC really have not much saying in this matter), are ruled by the United States. Iraqi President Saddam Hussein predicted that this would happen, and he warned his fellow Moslems. In 1990, he invaded Kuwait (the region of Kuwait used to belong to Irak during the Ottoman Empire period but was made independent by the British in 1922) but America, the Soviet Union, Britain and France ejected Irak from Kuwait. Ever since that time, the status quo in the region has been kept by America. The New World Order now reflects the interests of the victors rather than any universal principles of justice or morality. America has emerged as the principal guardian of Gulf security and the Moslem Civilization was, once more over its history, pushed back into a position of dependence, weakness and subservience, and that is really the old regional order (not the New World Order) in the Middle East. Since World War II, America along with junior partners, Britain, France and Russia, have refashioned the Middle East in their own image, building a new political and territorial order on the ruins of the Ottoman Empire. Despite the efforts of secular and religious local forces who rejected the West's intrusion, America and the junior partners formed states, chose people to govern them, and drawn frontiers between them. But this new order never worked because to Arab nationalists it meant betrayal of wartime promises made by the Allies, military occupation, and the exploitation of resources and of the Moslem people. The Jewish National Home in Palestine further fueled hostility toward the West. The post war order imposed by Britain and the Allies created instabilities and disorder (the Ottoman Empire was stable and had order) throughout the Moslem world. On November 29, 1947, the United Nations passed a resolution partitioning Palestine into two independent states, one Jewish and one Arab. The Jewish accepted the resolution and called their land Israel, but the Moslem states rejected it and sent their armies to regain the land but lost the war against Israel. The Palestinians lost their land and have been without a homeland ever since. They became refugees on their own land. Israel's occupation of Moslem land and refusal to recognize the national rights of the Palestinians were the fundamental problems. The State of Israel made its entrance into history in a war against the Moslems. Throughout this period America was a major support in lobbying the UN partition plan and in the birth of the State of Israel. In the aftermath of World war II there were numerous Arab-Israeli wars namely the: a) 1948 Palestine war; b) 1956 Suez war; c) June 1967 Six-Day war between Israel and Egypt/Syria/Jordan; d) 1969-70 War of Attrition between Israel and Egypt; e) October 1973 Yom Kippur war between Israel and Egypt/Syria; and f) Israel's June 1982 invasion of Lebanon. g) In 2001, the Jews of Israel declared war against the Palestinian refugees. After each war America became gradually committed to the security and well-being of Israel. America maintained Israel's superiority over Moslems through regular infusions of money and arms. During the Cold War America had a strategic interest in containing Soviet influence and its expansion in the Middle East. The money and arms given to Israel was used to fend off challenges to American interests from radical, Islamic, and Soviet-backed forces. The American support of Israel was criticized by the Arab Middle East and the Islamic world and has fed the radical Islamic fundamentalist movements. Another strategic interest of the United States was the need to preserve access to two-thirds of the world's known petroleum reserves. In the late 60's and during the 70's, America's defeat in the Vietnam War had profoundly disillusioned the American people about the necessity of always being upfront to the defense of their strategic interests in the Middle East. They chose to rely on friendly local powers as regional policemen: Israel, Iran and Saudi Arabia. They sold arms(at some point in time America agreed to sell anything to the shah of Iran but not nuclear weapons) to Iran and Saudi Arabia and provided them with technical assistance (at costs of course). In Iran, the arms sales increased tremendously as American companies scrambled for lucrative contracts. The overspending on arms led to inflation and corruption as American company officials offered "commissions" in return of government contracts. The increased exposure to Western ideas contributed to Iranian domestic problems, disturbed Islamic fundamentalists and alienated the Iranian people from their rulers. America used the shah to weaken the Soviet Union and its allies, especially Irak, in Central Asia. In the mean time, the Soviets sold arms to Irak. For the White House, the Kurdish people in northern Irak, and the people from Iran and Irak were all pawns in a geopolitical game, supporting them only as long as they were useful. America tilted first toward Iran but will tilt in favor of Irak when circumstances change and when it deemed such a tilt advantageous. This strategy built suspicion and resentment of America on all sides and the long-term consequences were not understood (as we have seen what happened on September 11 2001). In 1979 the Ayatollah Ruholla Khomeini overthrown the shah of Iran, the Pahlavi dynasty. With the collapse of the shah's regime, a decade of efforts to develop a viable Gulf strategy ended in failure. America lost a close friend but also prestige and credibility. It also lost its links to the Iranian military, its monitoring stations near the Soviet frontier, and a very important arms buyer. The oil-price also want up to $34 a barrel. Khomeini had criticized the shah's subservience to America and its alliance with Israel, potraying them both as evils to Islam. The Islamic Revolution turned America and other former allies into enemies. Khomeini regarded both the Soviet Union and America as equally guilty of imperialism. Khomeini wanted to spread the Islamic system of government to the corrupt pro-Western and anti-Islamic countries of the Gulf. Khomeini call to Iraqi Shiites to overthrow the Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and establish an Islamic state. In December 1979, the Soviet invaded Afghanistan. America feared that the invasion was a prelude to Soviet expansion in the Gulf. On September 22, 1980, Iraqi President Saddam Hussein launched a massive attack on Iran. It was believed that America was an accomplice in the Iraqi attack on Iran. Iraq had a military advantage as Iran was missing its principal source of arms and spare parts. In November 1979, followers of Khomeini seized American hostages. In October 1980, for no apparent reason, Iran announced the release of the hostages. A short while later the embargo on arms to Iran was reversed and Israel was allowed to sell several billion dollars' worth of American-made arms, spare parts, and ammunition to Iran. Money made enemies good friends. The Love-Hate relationship between America and Israel on one side and Khomeini and Hussein on the other side was erratic and contradictory. Money could buy anyone in the Pursian Gulf, even Israel and America. Eventually, Israel made its own arms sell deals without America's permission. America and Israel wanted the Iran-Iraq War to continue forever. There was plenty of money to make from both sides. The Soviet Union condemmed Iraq for starting the war and suspended arms supplies. In 1982 Iran invaded Iraqi territory. Moscow resumed arms supplies to Iraq. At the same time America feared the Iranian military victory which would mean the expansion of Islam. America tilted towards Irak. America also resumed arms sales to Iraq and restored diplomatic relations. Now the Love-Hate relationship between America and Iraqi President Saddam Hussein was very real. Once again money made old enemies good friends, and bought Israel and America. Both Israel and America were selling arms to both sides at the same time (the Iran-Contra scandal in the US) just to keep the war going. America's credibility in the eyes of the Arab allies was seriously damaged. Because of pressure at home, America intervened actively in the Iran-Iraq War by tilting on Iraq's side. America established an arms embargo against Iran. On July 1988 Iran capitulated. America's policy toward Iran and Iraq had been incoherent, inconsistent, dishonnest, erratic, and mostly aimed at making money. Strictly business! A profit-making international policy! And Saddam Hussein ended up becoming a junior partner with the US in preserving the status quo in the Gulf. The war did not resolve anything. The threat each regime presented the other was still existing after the cease-fire. In 1990 Iraq invaded Kuwait, its former land. The Americans launched Operation Desert Storm to remove the Iraqi forces from Kuwait, and hoping to create a "New World Order" where the rule of law governs the conduct of nations. This New World Order was meant to rally support from local powers but it turned out to be much of the same thing to the Moslem population: status quo, stability, based on the same states and frontiers, and it recognized only state rights and not that of individuals or group rights. It showed that Islamic fundamentalists were not welcome and would never succeed in a democratic framework. Democracy and human rights were not even mentioned, just as if Moslems were not evolved enough as human beings and could not possibly understand the higher thinking of democracy and that of human rights. Maybe Americans thought that, because of their non-Christian religion, Moslems were barbarians and could not be considered as part of the Human Family, the Earth Community. The New World Order was an illusion for covering American hegemony in the Middle East. It allowed Saddam to defeat the Kurdish and Shiite uprisings as a pre-condition to ending the war. The New World Order also allowed the Jews in Israel to occupy Arad lands in Palestine which is something unacceptable to the Islamic Civilization. Americans committed themselves to provide Israel with an unlimited economic, monetary, technological, diplomatic and military assistance. They wanted Israel to maintain its military edge at all costs. America also provided Israel with aid for large-scale housing projects on the West Bank. America remained hostile to the PLO. After understanding these historical events, dont you think Americans and Jews should say me-aculpa for the September 11 events in the USA ? In some ways I feel responsible as well as I should have criticized the American policies in the Middle East and may be they would have changed. Are we responsible adults or are we going to hide behind hate and revenge like irresponsible children? When are we going to look within ourselves and examine our Way of Life, our values, and start to take some responsibility of the September 11 events? All of us. The West is responsible for countless territorial disputes in the Middle East and in other parts of the world, and has denied several countries' very right to exist, and caused numerous wars and struggles for national liberation. Current conflicts in the Middle East are between Moslems and Jews, and Moslems and America. By making an astronomical profit through the selling of arms, war products and equipment to all of the Middle East countries, including Iran, Irak and Afghanistan, and by sucessively calling these old friends their new enemies and terrorists, and destroying their countries, America and Britain have shown that they could never be trusted. Since the Cold War is over, the only American interests in the Middle East are the cheap crude oil and the protection of Israel. The Jews come first even if it mean to fight and annihilate the entire Islamic Civilization with nuclear war heads. If you have any doubt that they would do such an atrocious crime, ask the people from Japan and also, ask the Russians as they have back off from rubbing their noses with those of the American and the British. They are looking for an excuse big enough for doing it. The September 11 event was not big enough. And it would not matter whether or not they have solid proof of who is guilty of the attack. No one has claimed responsibility of the September 11 event and, therefore, there are no solid proof of who could have done such a terrible act. If there had really been a solid proof it would have been easy to prove it in the Earth Court of Justice. America assume all Moslems are guilty. Moslems have had more than enough of the American and British imperialism in the Middle East. There is no such thing as one person, Osama bin Laden, being guilty of the September 11 event. It is ridiculous what the News Media Controlled Industry of the West is trying to make us believe. The media was told "Look for the leader and throw all you have got at him, and if there is no leader we will make one". Americans once again are invading a country in the region of the Middle East, Afghanistan, to look for the leader and his "gang of terrorists". We say that they are not people like we are, and they should be stopped. The reality is that they are Moslems people, more than a billion of them. After World War I, following the destruction of the Ottoman Empire, the European powers created states and appointed officials to administer them. A lot of what was created had no legitimacy for the people of the Moslem Civilization and Western domination brings much of the same kind of hegemony in the region as with the British. They have had enough of outsiders exploiting them for profit and power, of being used and killed, and their communities destroyed. The act of terrorism of September 11 was not caused by a group of lawless people with Osama bin Laden as their leader. No! The act of terrorim was the result of an entire Moslem Civilization telling America, and any new outsiders, to butt out of the Middle East or else they will come to our land and do the same to us. Killing Osama bin Laden and his people will not solve anything. It will make the American people feel better for a while. The News Media Controlled Industry of the West will make sure that the American feel good about having caught and punished the guilty ones. The American people are way more intelligent than this. They know something is not right! Something right has to be done and invading Afghanistan is not the answer. Invading the entire Moslem world is not the answer either. The only strategic interests America has in the Middle east are the oil, selling arms and Israel. We can buy the oil like we have done in the past. Better even we should find an environmentally friendly source of energy. Oil is creating global warming and will bring about the extinction of Life on Earth. Selling arms is evil. We know that so why are we doing it? Money? I certainly never got a penny off selling arms so who is making all those trillion of dollars? There were astronomical amounts of money made by the war industry ever since World War I. We have armed the Moslem people, and then we have destroyed them. The war industry is evil and should be shelved for good.
