Evolution, Creation, and now Guiding Souls

For a century evolutionists have challenged creationists with a large amount of scientific experiments and theories. Was life on Earth created by God six thousand years ago as described in the Bible or was it a slow and natural evolution spreading over several billion years? Most scientists dont want a supernatural being to affect Nature and rather like a Darwinian evolution which provides a mechanism for the formation of life. Unfortunately, Darwinian evolution encounters significant problems in explaining many biochemical systems which cannot be built up by natural selection alone. There seems to be no direct mutations, no gradual routes to some very large biochemical systems.

For a while the theory of Intelligent Design satisfied the creationists as it implied the inadequacy of the theory of Evolution in explaining the gradual steps of life to its complex making. The only logical explanation was to believe in the theory of Creation as presented by the Bible. So it seems!

The theory of Intelligent Design postulates that the ordering of separate components to achieve an identifiable function depends sharply on the components. The basis of life is the cell. The big molecules that do the work in the cell are proteins and nucleic acids. They are polymers. The building blocks of proteins are amino acids, and the building blocks of nucleic acids are nucleotides. For instance, the DNA is a nucleic acid made up of four different kinds of nucleotides: A, C, G, and T. Amino acids and nucleotides tend to associate together in almost an infinite variety of different molecules. The complexity of the problem faced by the Darwinian scheme of evolution is that evolution cannot explain the step-by-step pathways in a cell. No one can explain the origin of the complex biochemical systems in a cell. There were no biochemists on Earth several billion years ago. No laboratories either! The origin of life appears to require an Intelligent Design to direct the complex biochemical processes. For instance today a biochemist can easily synthesize the components of nucleotides by first purifying and then allowing them to recombine through chemical reactions. Several billion years ago undirected chemical reactions most often produced useless products. The proponents of the theory of Intelligent Design concluded that it was becoming more obvious that the complex biochemical systems of life were not put together gradually but rather quickly. The designer knew what the complex biochemical systems would look like. The systems were designed by an intelligent agent. Life was purposely arranged.

The Guiding Souls to serve God

The Guiding Souls to serve God is a part of a new religion made public for the first time a short while ago on the websites of the Earth Community, the Human Family. The fundamental beliefs are as follow.

The laws of nature can organize matter to build complex biochemical systems that are at the origin of lifeforms such as a complex human being. The most relevant laws are: biological reproduction, natural selection and mutation. Each particle of matter has a Soul. All biological structures can be explained in terms of those natural laws and the Guiding Souls serving God. The existence of Souls does not necessarily imply a special beginning of the Universe. The Universe may have never had a beginning and probably never did. Souls can only guide the matter of the Universe to serve God. Observations of the Universe show the stars in our galaxy, galaxies, clusters of galaxies, super clusters of galaxies, and many other special objects. A theory of the observable Universe that has stood out over the past decades is the Big Bang theory. Different types of data point at the Big Bang theory. We may never be a 100% certain which theory of the Universe (and God knows there are many) is correct. A good reference is my own Master's Degree Thesis:

Even if the Big Bang was correct, it could also be that the observable universe is a part of an even larger, infinite, universe. That is more likely to be true. God is infinite in space and time and could have created our observable universe for a higher purpose.

Let us assume here that the beginning of our observable universe was a Big Bang. The conditions for the formation of life on Earth appeared gradually over the past billion years. Souls were guiding evolution in small ways so as to make it possible for life to be conscious of God.

The physical universe is a part of God. God is conscious of us through our Souls. In a way, Souls are 'God's plumbing devices', His ways to communicate with the physical universe, His medium to connect with us. Most Souls as we see them today are not as they were at the beginning of the universe. That is if there was such beginning. Let us say that at the beginning of our observable universe, there was the Primeval Atom or Big Bang. Souls have merged and evolved ever since this beginning. The Primeval Atom was made of the pure light of God and of His consciousness and Spirit, which today we call Souls. Then God allowed the Primeval Atom to explode and space, time and matter were formed and the universe evolved as we observe it today.

At the early stage of this expanding universe, every particle in the universe had a Soul each being a small part of the primeval consciousness of God. Each Soul was the essence of a small part of God's Spirit. In a way, the essence of each Soul is its own Spirit, itself a small part of God's Spirit. This is because God exists everywhere in the universe and in every particle of all galaxies. Souls have an important intrinsic quality, they can merge together, a group of Souls can become one Soul, a brighter one, different. This is what Souls do best, and it is to unify to better serve God. Souls can evolve as well. A Soul's primary goal is to serve God. A Soul can affect matter to some extent so as to achieve God's Will.

Souls do their work at all times and everywhere over the entire universe. This is especially true during the formation of stars. Stars are formed when a large cloud of dust particles collapse on itself by gravitational forces and other physical phenomena which may affect their characteristics. Then a star, and planets with their moons, if any, are formed. After being born a star system has a lifetime of its own. For instance, our Sun is believed to be about six billion years old, a young star really! Souls continue to do their work at all times during the formation of a new star system. It is very likely that there are billions of star systems with planets in our observable universe. Souls would have guided matter to create such systems to better serve God. The ultimate goal is the creation of life on a planet. Life allows Souls to be conscious of God in many different ways, and thus to better serve God.

At the early stage, when the Earth was formed, and a while later, all the conditions for the formation of life were present, and life was created to better serve God. Life was made of matter and every particle of that matter had a Soul that merged with all the others. That first spark of life had a unique and independent Soul, and its own Spirit, to better serve God. Throughout the different evolutionary stages of life on Earth, Souls have guided the step-by-step evolution of life on Earth and kept merging to better serve God. They guided the evolutionary process in small ways. Many groupings of Souls became more complex than others as they were much brighter beings than other groupings, but all serve God in their own special way. One unique and most wonderful grouping was the grouping that made the Human Soul. God loves the human Souls a lot because of their wonderful qualities. Through their Souls human beings became conscious of God in many different ways. Religions of all kinds started to spread on Earth over the past thousands of years to adore God and pray. Different groupings of Souls affected human beings in different ways and Peoples today have different religious beliefs. God is like a river feeding plentifully and bountifully all life and plants. There are many pathways leading to the river. They are God's pathways. God loves diversity in Nature and in Souls. God loves good Souls from all religions.

Different religions have different ways to love, adore and pray to God. And God's Heaven exists. Heaven on Earth is different from God's Heaven. To be in Heaven with God will mean a Soul has left the matter of the universe forever to enter God's Heaven.

There are other pathways for Souls to enter God's Heaven but they are God's pathways.

I have created a new relationship with my Soul whereby I let my Soul to know me and the physical universe I live in, my environment and, in return, my Soul let me know what it means about being a Soul, and about the other Souls, Beings, my Spirit, Divine Love and Divine Will, and help me make contact with God and live a Soul life. My Soul learns from me, and I learn from my Soul. Souls are way more intelligent then we are and are very creative. We both appreciate one another. Our learning is never lost. We are sharing a lot. Human Souls are much more intelligent than the most powerful human minds. There is no comparison here. All Souls are independent living beings, and they exist together elsewhere. They don't resemble our physical forms. There is a Soul in everyone of us. The same Soul stays with us throughout our life. A Soul is a beautiful, wonderful entity who loves us completely. A Soul can have a soulmate. I do! Her physical form died a while ago but her Soul merged with mine and we are now together forever. We are now one Soul, brighter, different, evolving, serving God and seeking His Heaven!

The relationship with my Soul has lead me to the discovery of the Soul of Humanity, a wonderful loving Being made of all the Souls of Humanity, the Souls of all lifeforms on Earth and the Soul of Earth itself. Now we all see the place the Earth has in the universe, and that it also has a Soul, the Soul of Humanity. Earth has a Soul just like each and everyone of us. Obviously the Soul of the Earth is different than the Soul of a person, and the Soul of each person is different than that of another person.

The Will of God is for life to reach God in the best possible ways. Life is the most precious gift ever given by God to the Universe. Life allows Souls to be conscious of God in as many different ways as possible. Life is the building block through which Souls can have a meaningful relationship with God. By observing the Universe, the galaxies, we are observing and studying God. We are seeing His magnificence, His greatness, and His complex making. There is more to the Universe we observe today, that is, there is more to God, much more. God is self-existent, eternal and infinite in space and time. Follow God's Word. God's Plan was revealed to humanity a short while ago. The Divine Plan for humanity is:

Religious beliefs with respect to Earth Management are issues to be discussed in a Discussion Roundtable during the global dialogue to be held August 2002. In many ways religious beliefs affect Earth Management, and we want to discuss their importance. We started this discussion during the World Congress, and we will continue it in August 2002. During the World Congress the Earth Community Organization has extended the idea of sustainability to be a moral and ethical state as well as an economic and environmental state. We may find that religious beliefs have always been beneficial. I dont know! We invite everyone and every organization to participate openly without fear. We have asked everyone throughout the World Congress to scrutinize all of our values. No exception! You were asked to create new thoughts that will sustain Earth, humanity and all life.

Again I will not claim here to know all about religions or be an expert on the fine words writen by past famous religious leaders. They are not my religious beliefs, and it is not up to me to talk about theirs. I think of myself as a humble person and as such I will express my own religious beliefs, and how they may affect Earth Management. I do not belong to a Church or a religious organization and will never do so. I believe in God and more, as you will see next. I deal with God and my religious beliefs in the most satisfying ways that makes a lot of good sense in my life.

This process will help humanity to think clearly and globally. Your research papers, brainstorming exercises, Vision statements, discussions, comments and recommendations will be well appreciated and reviewed. They will give us a sense of direction and purpose. The end product will also include universal values to connect us together as we all belong to Earth Community.

From the experience in your life... well!... I have already described my own life experience in an article of the December 2000 Newsletter. Today I will clarify and expand on some of the ideas described in the article. I will only describe my own religious beliefs and how they may help managing Earth.They go along with the movement for Peace in the world. They are the thoughts for the New Age. These are my own personal thoughts and are not to be confused with any other religious beliefs that may seem similar in essence. How could religious beliefs be of importance to sustain Earth, humanity, all life, our environment on the planet?

Imagine the state of the Universe at the time of its creation. You could assume that the beginning of the Universe was an explosive kind as described by the Big Bang theory of the Universe. But it could have also been another type of beginning. The following explanation about the formation of the Soul of Humanity would still be true no matter whether the theory of the original primeval atom is true or not. Because of the amount of experimental data pointing at or proving the Big Bang theory, we will assume here that it was such a beginning.

Imagine the Universe the first few seconds after its explosive phase. The Primeval Atom split into its fundamental particles, the kind we observe today in large quantities. These particles expanded in all directions. Space and time were also expanding with the matter. A cosmic time later, dust particles throughout the Universe gathered together to form stars and planets. Galaxies were forming and still expanding in all directions. Another cosmic time later, our galaxy was formed, the incredibly beautiful Milky Way, and our star, the Sun, with all of our planets, with the Earth as the most gorgeous object of the entire Universe.

As was explained in the December 2000 Newsletter, God created Souls. The physical Universe is a part of God. God is conscious of us through our Souls. In a way, Souls are 'God's plumbing devices', His ways to communicate with the physical Universe, His medium to connect with us. Correction: some Souls may still be the same as they were originally but most Souls have evolved and are remarkably different today. God created the Primeval Atom. God may have even created billions of those Primeval Atoms in a Universe much larger than we assume it is by observation (John 1:3 "All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made."). The Primeval Atom was made of the pure light of God and of His consciousness and Spirit, which today we call Souls. Then God allowed the Primeval Atom to explode and space, time and matter were formed and the Universe evolved as we observe it today.

The star itself, like our Sun, becomes a single, unique Soul serving God. The Sun spreads its light, its energy all around, DIVINE LOVE and DIVINE WILL, helping life to be created on Earth. Earth itself also became one unique Soul to better serve God. For instance, one pathway was shown in the Ten Commandmends. And Jesus, the Son of God, the Savior, died on the cross for our sins. Christ died for sins once for all...to bring humanity to God. "To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God." (John: 1:12). Souls who followed this pathway will leave the matter of the Universe forever and enter God's Heaven. Throughout the Universe God has made it possible for Souls to enter His Heaven, and there are more than one God's pathways.

Human Souls are much more intelligent than the most powerful human minds. There is no comparison here. All Souls are independent living beings, and they exist together elsewhere. A Soul will not try to control us. A Soul accepts us as we are. We can have a close relationship with our Soul and live a Soul life. Every lifeform on Earth has a Soul as well. All minerals and plants, every particle in the Universe has a Soul (but usually Souls will merge or unify to become different groupings to better serve God). This is because God exists everywhere in the Universe and in every particle of all galaxies. God is conscious of the Universe through his Souls, and we are conscious of God because of his Souls. There are many unanswered questions about Souls and God, and the human heart and mind are still exploring many possibilities. We will never find all of the answers.

Because God is so powerful, and because we are so human and so weak, we try to make demands on God. I have done so many times myself. God let us live and die, and it is up to us to have a relationship with Him. God let us be free. We are free to make choices between an infinite number of possibilities at each instant throughout our lives. That is why we could never repeat exactly the same life all over again even given the same original circumstances. We are free to decide between right and wrong. We are free to grow spiritually and live better lives with our Souls and God. God does not tell us what to do or what not to do, nor does our Soul. Except when Souls want to leave the matter of the Universe forever to enter God's Heaven, then God will show us the way, for instance following the Ten Commandmends and believe that Christ died for sins once for all...to bring humanity to God. Otherwise, we are truly free! Once a Soul has merged and evolved enough, it will want to enter God's Heaven. Then it must follow God's pathway to God's Heaven. The Soul will have been purged or purified before entering God's Heaven.

Life exists on millions of other planets in the Universe, and our species got to be who we are today through the evolutionary process. Other lifeforms in the Universe may have evolved to be at least as advanced as our species. Their Souls may even be more complicated than ours. They may have merged a trillion times more than our Souls.

You can connect with God just by yourself! Just think of God, and there is God for you. Simple! Our Soul can also help us make contact with God. God does not belong to any particular religious institution. God does not belong to anyone in particular. God is self-existent. The physical Universe is a part of God. God is conscious of us through our Souls.

The Soul of Humanity is a wonderful loving Being made up of all the Souls of humanity, the Souls of all lifeforms on Earth and the Soul of Earth itself. This is what Souls do best, to unify and better serve God. They have merged together to better serve God. Souls can evolve as well and they have. They have formed a new Being, the Soul of Humanity to better serve God. The Soul of Humanity is helping to bring about the event of Peace in the world. Knowing that Earth is a spiritual entity as well as a physical entity in space and time in the Universe we begin to have a better relationship with Earth and with all its living inhabitants. This way Earth management will become a spiritual and a natural process whereby each person is responsible and accountable for its management the best they can. Peace in the world and Earth management have for too long been in the hands of and affected by government and business leaders, in the hands of a few people on the planet, as opposed to being in the hands of all of us (6.114 billion people on Earth) working together to keep our planet healthy. We are the keepers of the Earth.

Now we all see the place the Earth has in the Universe, and that it also has a Soul, the Soul of Humanity. Earth has a Soul just like each and everyone of us. Obviously the Soul of the Earth is different than the Soul of a person, and the Soul of each person is different than that of another person. No two people are the same or have the same Souls. Souls have lived different experiences and merged since the beginning of the Universe, the Primeval Atom explosion.

Because of the danger of life extinction on Earth, the Soul of Humanity will be helping us for some time. This makes a lot of sense! If you were a Soul would you prefer to serve God in a dust particle found in the empty space between the oldest galaxies? You would still be with God! But the next particle might be a million light years away. Pitch dark! You could not even see or sense the light of the nearest galaxy. You could not see anything because you would have to be in a lifeform to do so. Not a very good place to be conscious of God. As a Soul you would still be with the other Souls but you would not taste life in the physical Universe. Just a particle! Or would you prefer to be on Earth or on any other planet where there is life. As a Soul you would probably prefer to serve God within a human being or within some other advanced lifeform in the Universe. There is a lot to be conscious of in any lifeform on Earth. There is so much more to be conscious of in a human body. Can you believe that every lifeform has a Soul just like ours? Well, with some differences (all Souls are different; all Souls have lived different experiences). God is conscious of all lifeforms. For instance, a bird! God is very happy when He is conscious of flying in our physical Universe. God loves human beings more because we can talk back to God (so He has a friend to talk to), and we are conscious of God Himself (so we have a friend as well). This does not mean we are like God. No way! God does not look like us, and we dont look like God. Not ever! God is an infinite Being covering all of the Universe and beyond. By Universe we mean the billion of galaxies, space and time, formed after the primeval explosion, and beyond. Life has evolved on Earth, and there we are, the 'top of the line species' (you could challenge this theory as we could have come from another star system). Being the 'top of the line species' on Earth has put a burden on us. We have the responsibility of managing Earth. The Earth ecosystem is so fragile that we have to manage it together wisely. Souls and God want to help us to manage Earth.

They want to help us!

Why would the Soul of Humanity want to help us? A very simple answer! Throughout our human history we have left behind too many dead bodies, and too much destruction. Everytime a lifeform dies because of us, a Soul lost a physical form to serve God. The Soul has to find another place to serve God. If you were a Soul, would you want to serve God in a dust particle found in the empty space between the oldest galaxies of the Universe? If you were a Soul, would you want to help humanity through the hard times ahead so you could live longer, taste life in a human body and have a relationship within the physical body you are in on Earth? I believe I know your answer. Life is a much better place to be to serve God. And the human body is 'the top of the line species' on Earth.

Earth is Heaven for God... because God becomes so happy of being conscious of such diversity of lifeforms on Earth and of so many different ways to be alive in our physical Universe. We could all learn to appreciate Heaven on Earth. If Souls and God can, why cant'we? Every time our Souls are successful with us, that is when we go through life without destroying life around us, no conflicts and wars, and then our Souls are allowed to get closer to God.

If a person does anything consciously to damage or destroy the life-support system of the Earth, the ecosystem, and if that person creates or is involved directly or indirectly with conflicts or wars, the Soul of that person is facing the Soul of Humanity. Right now! That Soul is facing the Soul of Humanity right now where all Souls are. God creates particles in places in the Universe, and there is a need for a Soul to serve God in all of those new particles. There is also a need to replace the Souls living in particles between the oldest galaxies and have them come to Earth to taste life. These Souls have been in those particles for more than fifteen billion years and yes, they will be pleased to replace these old Souls on Earth who have gotten too fat for their bellies (a figure of speech) and would rather not bother about the Earth ecosystem and the survival of life on Earth. All Souls within the mineral and plant domains on Earth will also be asked to move up to a higher level, that of the lifeforms. This process has already started a short while ago. In less than a generation a very large number of Souls will be leaving Earth forever and new Souls eager to learn about life in all forms will be replacing them. These new Souls will learn to manage with the living. The merging of all Souls to form the Soul of Humanity may affect significantly this entire process.

To manage Earth is very important because Earth is all that we have, and Earth is a spiritual entity that wants respect. Earth is our most precious and the one and only place we can live. Earth is more than just a home - it is Heaven. God Himself is having a good time on Earth because of the diversity of lifeforms, its incredible beauty, and its magnificent 'top of the line species', us, who can adore and serve Him in so many different ways. God was touched deeply by humble people from all religions on Earth. We cannot allow ourselves to let governments and other organizations take away our responsibility for managing Earth. It would be like giving the key of Heaven, our Heaven, to people who would be looking after their own self-interests and not bother with what is truly important. Over the past thousands of years, our species has gone through all sorts of loops and dead ends but we are who we are today: hopeful, imaginative, creative, demanding, powerful, diversified, changing, evolving, intelligent, resourceful, and a kilometre length of skills, qualifications and strengths. We have what it takes to manage Earth wisely and keep it healthy. Somehow we never do enough or we don't do things well enough! What is missing? Respect for Earth is missing. We think of Earth as a pile of dirt to be used anyway we wish. We don't care because we have been told that God will have us in His Heaven after our death. Someone said to me: "So who cares about Earth? I am going to Heaven after I die..." . Guess what someone else said to that person..."from now on, after you die, you will be facing the "Soul of Humanity," and we have just the kind of dirt or dust particle you deserve".

What is happening right now is very serious and very real! Purging and renewing of the Souls! On a smaller scale, something similar happened when Jesus (I apologize for using a religious leader from a specific religion) conducted 'The Cleansing of the Temple'. Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all those engaged in selling and buying there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves. And he said to them, 'It is written :

"I am the Soul of Humanity and of all that exists on Earth. My Temple is Earth! Not only are you thieves but you are murderers and killers. I know you all personally as your Souls are a part of me. They are my eyes. You cannot hide and you cannot run. I will not whip you out of my Temple as Jesus did. I have no need for that! You are destroying yourself. The only problem is that you are also responsible for the death of innocent and humble people. Life on Earth and the rest of humanity are threatened with extinction. This is insane! You have polluted air,water and land and you are still creating conflicts and wars. Most often the innocent and the humble people are hurt or killed. I want you to put down your guns, all of you. You will recycle all your weapons, war heads and any war equipment and products. You will stop destroying the ecosystem of the Earth right now. You will be a part of the grassroots process of the Earth Community Organization. You will help to form the Earth Government. Earth shall be a place of prayer and shall become a Heaven for Souls as it is for God. If we, Souls and God, can see life as the most precious thing ever created, and we see Earth as Heaven, why cant'you? After your physical forms are dead, your Souls will separate from me and leave Earth forever.The purging and renewing of the Souls on Earth will last a millennium."

If you manufacture bombs, weapons of all types, war ships, war planes, or any other types of war equipment or products, directly or indirectly, and if you provide the services of war, you voted for a leader who claimed war(or conflicts) as a way or a solution to a problem or concern, and/or if you are a soldier, a war maker or doer, then your Soul is facing the Soul of Humanity right now. And good-bye Charlie! And good riddance! Have a good particle in empty space between the oldest galaxies of the Universe and you may keep it for another fifteen billion years! You will serve God right there after you die! You will never see the light again! Earth wants Peace in the world and Earth shall have it. Because of a geographical or political border, or because of some cultural or religious differences, you could not live and learn to be in Peace with the community next to you, your neighbors.

If you are an innocent, and you die because of a war or a conflict, and you did not participate in the above, your Soul will be back on Earth to taste life again within the 'top of the line species', ours, within Earth Community and, as a Soul, you will be allowed to move up to a higher level closer to God. And God will be so much happier to be conscious of you because you will be closer to Him/Her. All the other Souls (those who live a life for Peace and are helping Earth) will also be back on Earth and live a life closer to God (John 3:36 "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him"). All of you good Souls are my friends, and there is great joy and happiness in having you in Heaven on Earth. Your Soul and Spirit will also be given a chance to leave the matter of the Universe forever and enter God's Heaven.

If you are innocent, and you die because of a war or a conflict, and you did not participate in the above, and you believe in Jesus, your Soul will leave the matter of the Universe forever (Matthew 1:21 "for He shall save his people from their sins") and will enter God's Heavens as promised by Jesus. Similarly, all the other Souls (those who live a life for Peace and are helping Earth, and also believed in Jesus), after your physical forms have died, will leave the matter of the Universe forever and will enter God's Heaven as promised by Jesus.

There are other pathways for Souls to enter God's Heaven but, as explained above, they are God's pathways.

Earth was hurt! All Souls on Earth have unified, and they are now called the Soul of Humanity. Souls can evolve and can do a lot to heal humanity. They will resolve problems, concerns and issues peacefully. They will reinstate the respect for Earth and work together to keep Earth healthy, productive and hospitable for all people and living things. They have joined forces to bring forth a sustainable global society embracing universal values related to human rights, economic and social justice, respect of nature, peace, responsibility to one another, and the protection and management of the Earth. Everyone shares responsibility for the present and future well-being of life within Earth Community. When there is a need to find a solution to a problem or a concern, a sound solution would be to choose a measure or conduct an action, if possible, which causes reversible damage as opposed to a measure or an action causing an irreversible loss.

4. Soul of Humanity's Message

a) For their relentless exploitation of the Moslem nations of the Middle East and of Afghanistan to make an immoral profit and obtain power at all costs, for having abused and killed and being the cause of the deaths of millions of Moslems in that region, for having invaded Moslem nations which itself is a horrible crime against humanity, against all human rights, and against democracy and freedom of a people to exist, and for the hate they have created in the heart and mind of every person in the Moslem Civilization, it is recommended that America, Israel, Great Britain, Germany, France and Russia pay eight trillion dollars(American) toward building sustainable communities in the region. The Earth Community shall administer the amount paid and manage the project.

b) Immediate withdrawal of all invading troops from the Middle East and Afghanistan.

c) d) Free trade and the Way of Life of the West that is, the way of doing business, have been given a bad reputation in the world, especially in the Middle East where oil and arms sales have always been strategic interests of several Western nations. The West has relentlessly exploited the oil producing nations of the Middle East. By their behavior and ways of doing things, America and the European Union nations have shown that free trade and globalization meant the absence of ethical and moral values, the absence of responsibility and accountability to products and people, abuses of human rights, cause for terrorism, social and economic injustice, poverty, and pollution. They have given to trade a bad name. The Earth Community is requesting all members of the World Trade Organization(WTO) to change their ways by:

1. building social and environmental concerns into the WTO trade rules;
2. including ethical and moral values, responsibility and accountability in all situations and places;
3. developing a global regulatory framework for capitals and corporations;
4. making a transition from global competition to global co-operation which allows communities the freedom to pursue social and environmental objectives;
5. assuring that globalization and planetary trading blocks serve the Earth Community, the Human Family; and
6. developing a method of raising global taxes, of redistributing incomes to the poorest communities, of providing debt-free technical assistance to non-industrial and developing countries to help them out of poverty and to meet environmental and social standards.

e) The war industry is the "mother of all evils" of our world. It must be shelved. War products and equipment from all nations must be decommissioned. Join the Peace Movement of the Earth Community.

f) Terrorism must be stopped by using means other than war.

g) All religions are required to conduct positive actions for peace, join the Peace Movement of the Earth Community, and re-examine their scriptures, precepts, practices, ethical and moral values in light of ecological concerns. The global community is facing a global environmental crisis. It is very important that every person on Earth accept of being part of the process in protecting the global life-support systems. The ecological crisis is as much about saving children as it is about saving other lifeforms on the planet. Our objective is to find statements from all religions that promote the respect, stewardship, protection, ethical and moral responsibility to life and of the environment, the Earth global life-support systems, and statements that promote a responsible earth management. We are also asking for specific statements on environmental conservation such as those expressed by the Islamic religion.

i) The United Nations are to restructure their organization or start rebuilding it from scratch. The United Nations must reflect the needs and aspirations of the New Age Civilization: all Peoples together, the Human Family, the Earth Community, the Global Community, Global Economic Cooperation, Global Governance, Earth Governance, Earth Environmental Governance, and the Earth Government. It must become a democracy. Join the Global Dialogue on Earth Management to be held on August 2002 in Toronto.

War is the greatest violation of human rights that one people can inflict on another. It brings deaths and injuries, starvation, diseases, millions of people losing their homes and livelihoods, and massive destruction of property. Children and teenagers are placed in internment camps, and several are often forced to serve as soldiers. War not only corrupts the morals of soldiers, it leads to a decline in the morality of the whole nation. Political and military leaders are always convinced that their particular war is justified. From their point of view, there are several reasons to go to war: loyalty to allies, religion, a thirst for power, greed, ancient grievances to be settled, or the desire to alleviate suffering among their people. A nonviolent settlement to a conflict would always be more advantageous. War is self-defeating because it cannot secure what it sets out to achieve, protection against attack. The hatred for the enemy whipped up by war and the desire for revenge among the losers leads to an accursed vicious circle from which there is no escape. The difference between agressive and defensive, or just and unjust wars, is ridiculous. They are tags each side adopted to suit its interests. War and militarism destroy civil liberties within a nation.

What happens to a person's conscience when he/she wears the uniform of the soldier? It is enslaved to the state. He must kill when ordered. No government, whether democratic or despotic, can allow the soldier to decide what to do according to his conscience. That would undermine discipline and the power to fight.

The Earth Community claims that everyone on Earth should be able to live in peace. This peace mouvement is about courage. Not the courage it takes to go into battle but the courage to organize resistance to war when a bloody taste for it inflames the world, and the threat of prison in a nation where the human rights and freedom of expression have diminished significantly. It is about the courage to say NO to the war industry. It is an industry that destroys life on Earth, corrupts society, and violates morality. Military intervention in the affairs of other nations is wrong. There are other ways, there are peaceful ways, ways that are not based on profit-making and the gain of power for itself. We are conscientious objectors, "nonresistants". That word comes from Jesus, opposing the use of violence: "Ye have heard that it hath been said, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth: but I say unto you, that ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also."

The evil is the war industry. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus develops the ethic of nonviolence and love of the enemies. Early Christians were probably the first individuals to renounce participation in war unconditionally. "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God." And he told Peter, "All they that take the sword shall perish with the sword." Christ has taught us to show mercy, to forgive enemies, to put up patiently with oppression, to return only good for evil and love for hatred and, therefore, war is inconsistent with the Spirit of Jesus Christ. This shows that a Christian should take no part in war, never, in any way. A Christian should also promote peace when at war. There are no neutral grounds for doing good for humanity. This all means that violence is futile in the long run. To respond to violence with violence is only perpetuating a vicious cycle of violence.

God prohibits killing, and no exception at all ought to be made to the commandment that it is always wrong to kill. The sanctity of human life is unconditional. A short while ago God, Allah, has spoken to humanity once more. The New Age Revelations are His Word. His Revelations are to be added to previous ones revealed thousands of years ago. Together they are God's Word, and they will guide humanity for the thousands of years to come. His Word reinforce His compassion and love for humanity and His care for all living inhabitants on Earth and of Earth itself. God has said:

"Thou shall banish war as a solution to problems between communities. All Souls involved with war, directly or indirectly, shall face the Soul of Humanity to be purified. All Souls involved in the making of weapons, war product and equipment shall be facing the Soul of Humanity."

To be purified means a Soul loses all of its attributes as a Human Soul. Then the Soul will be asked to serve God in a particle in the empty space between the oldest galaxies of the Universe. There will be no interaction with an other particle. The Soul will never see the light again.

There are several reasons for objecting to war: religious, moral and political. People have different degrees of refusal to go to war. Absolute pacifists such as the Earth Community will not cooperate with any preparation for war as decided by the war industry, let alone war itself. Others will accept some kinds of service so long as they are not forced to fight. And others are willing to fight in "just wars." The idea of the "just war" began with St. Augustine. Late in the fourth century he argued that the good Christian, barred from doing violence on his own behalf, could take arms in a war that was just. Several theologians now say that the standards for a just war are:

a) War must be the last resort and used only after other means have failed.
b) War must be declared to redress rights actually violated or for defense against unjust demands backed by the threat of force. It must not be fought simply to satisfy national pride or to further economic or territorial gain.
c) The war must be openly and legally declared by a legal government.
d) There must be a reasonable chance of winning.
e) The means used must be in proportion to the ends sought.
f) Soldiers must distinguish between armies and civilians and not killed civilians in purpose.
g) The winner must not required the utter humiliation of the loser.

St. Augustine was evil in his own way. He was wrong! He never understood or care about Christ's Way. There are no just wars. A true Christian does not do war. The Christians that follow St. Augustine's preaching and do war are no better than the people of the Taliban Regime in Afghanistan. The extremists of the Taliban regime do the exact same thing. Both have interpreted their own religious beliefs to fit their self-interests. We are no different and no better than the members of the Taliban Regime.

There were always Christians who rejected violence. They believed Christ's way was the pursuit of peace. During the Crusades, from the eleventh to fourteenth centuries, Christians fought to recover the Holy Land from Islam, and the Church plunged into extreme violence and cruelty. Even then there were some who had the courage to criticize the theory and practice of their time. They were like the early Christians in denouncing war. Only now they were not rebelling against a heathen empire but against the wordly Church. In their opposition they formed sects, separate from the official Church. Their pacifist convictions found their source in a return to the Bible. These awakened Christians went back to the fundamental ideas of Christianity, to the New Testament, and took the Sermon on the Mount as their ideal.

In America, we see Churches showing the American flag beside the Cross. The Churches promote American values as they relate to war and free trade in the world. Churches that do so are the heathen empire, a place where the evil of war is being talk to in a friendly way. They are also in the business of making money. In many ways, these Churches promote values that are at the opposite end of the spectrum where stand the religious leaders of the Taliban Regime in Afghanistan. Christian leaders of the West are driven by their own self-interests and not by Christ's teachings. They are extremists at the opposite end. Christ is not really their God. Money is! When Jesus conducted 'The Cleansing of the Temple', he entered the temple area and drove out all those engaged in selling and buying there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves. And he said to them, 'It is written :

"My house shall be a house of prayer, but you are making it a den of thieves."

The Earth Community, the Human Family, is asking all Churches in North America to stand up for peace in the world in such a way that peace will come. We want you to state the following declaration in all your Churches.

We utterly deny all outward wars and strife and fightings with outward weapons, for any end or under any pretence whatever, and we do certainly know, and so testify to the world, that the Spirit of Allah, God, which leads us to all truth, will never move us to fight and war against any human being with outward weapons, neither for the kingdom of Allah, God, not for the kingdom of this world. The Will of God is for life to reach God in the best possible ways. Life is the most precious gift ever given by God to the Universe. Life allows Souls to be conscious of God in as many different ways as possible. Life is the building block through which Souls can have a meaningful relationship with God. By observing the Universe, the galaxies, we are observing and studying God. We are seeing His magnificence, His greatness, and His complex making. There is more to the Universe we observe today, that is there is more to God, much more. God is self-existent, eternal and infinite in space and time. Follow God's Word. God's Plan was revealed to humanity a short while ago. The Divine Plan for humanity is:

a) for everyone to manage Earth responsibly, and
b) about to reach the stars and spread Life throughout the universe and thus help other Souls to evolve and serve God in the best possible ways.

Today the only wars the Earth Community is asking you to win are:
a) the war against terrorism using peaceful means;
b) the protection of the global life-support systems; the global environmental crisis; and
c) to give free trade around the world and globalization a good name by changing the existing state of affairs from a global competition to a global co-operation and including social and environmental concerns in the ways of doing trade and business.

The Earth Community is asking all religions around the world to re-examine their scriptures, precepts, practices, ethical and moral values in light of ecological concerns. The global community is facing a global environmental crisis. It is very important that every person on Earth accept of being part of the process in protecting the global life-support systems. Our next objective will be to find statements from all religions that promote the respect, stewardship, protection, ethical and moral responsibility to life and of the environment, the Earth global life-support systems, and statements that promote a responsible earth management. The worst environmental degradation happens in wars. Farm products in fields and livestock are abandoned, there is no more control on toxic wastes, and water, air, and land are polluted. People are displaced and feel no longer responsible for the quality of life in their communities. Historically, the industrialized nations have caused the most damage to the environment, with their careless technology and policies. Emissions from factories and vehicles have caused ozone depletion and acid rain. Leaders of the wealthier nations must be willing to accept responsibility for past mistakes and to help pay the financial burden for environmental protection of the developing nations. This is the most damaging conflict of interests between the rich industrialized countries and those that are poor and struggling just for existence. The Earth Community must help wealthy and poorer nations reach a better understanding of each other's needs. All aspects are interrelated: peace, human rights and the environment. The poor is more concerned with ending starvation, finding a proper shelter and employment, and helping their children to survive. Environmental issues become meaningless to the poor. In reality, all concerns are interrelated. As soon as the environment is destroyed beyond repair, human suffering is next. Ecology has no boundaries. All nations suffer the effects of air pollution, global warming, loss of biodiversity, soil erosion, acid rain, ozone depletion, silting of streams, and countless of other environmental problems. This was the reason for proposing to the Earth Community the Scale of Human and Earth Rights.

The Earth Community wants to provide a forum where international conflicts could be argued and resolved peacefully. Because of hatred and mistrust, disputing parties always find it difficult to express constructive ideas or proposals. A face-to-face meeting may not even be possible. The Earth Community offers to be a trusted third party that would carry ideas back and forth, put forward new proposals until both sides agree. When both parties feel they have gained more than they have lost from the process, the outcome is a win-win settlement for peace. To the people of Afghanistan, the Earth Community believes in the peaceful settlement of conflics and wars. It will take you a great deal of self-denial and resignation of yourselves to Allah to attain that state wherein we can freely cease from fighting when wrongfully invaded. Killing is wrong no matter what the circumstances.

The invasion of Afghanistan by outside powers and years of war have brought death, hunger, disease and depopulation to the country. During the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in the 1980s, America sold sophisticated weapons, heavy artilleries and stinger missiles to the Afghans. After the withdrawal of Soviet troops in 1992 and the end of the America-Soviet Cold War, America was no longer interested or concerned about the people of Afghanistan. Afghanistan had served Americans interests during the Cold war and was no longer needed. Afghanistan was left with a legacy of heavily armed factions, millions of landmines and with no legitimate government to run the country.

During this period of time over 1.5 million men, women and children have lost their lives.

Women and girls have been beaten, raped and abducted as "wives" or sold into prostitution.

Poverty is widespread. High unemployment have led to a growing crime rate, illicit drug production for the West and arms trade.

The West has no humane justification for invading a country you have abandoned after Afghans help America win the Cold War against the Soviets. Invading Afghanistan is the most despicable act of cowardice coming from the most powerful nation on Earth. The Soviets were no better. But you are worst. The United Nations deserve the same shame as you do. The United Nations have been a dictature ever since its creation. Mr. Nobel must have turned twice in his grave when he heard that the UN and their leader just received the Nobel Peace Prize. How can you be an advocate for Peace when you vote for wars? How can you be an advocate for Peace when four of your five Permanent Members, France, Russia, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the United States of America have had a Love-Hate relationship with the Islamic Civilization that is, they Love the money but the Moslems Hate them for invading their nations(read article D)?

In the historical event of the Iran-Iraq War, the Love-Hate relationship with either regime was based mostly on the love of profit-making from the part of America and hate of Americans and Jews by Iraqis and Iranians. Israel and America were selling arms to both sides at the same time (the Iran-Contra scandal in the US) just to keep the war going. America's credibility in the eyes of the Moslem allies was seriously damaged. This Love-Hate relationship is very much the same today. Now Americans and Jews are selling arms to the people of Pakistan. It is only a matter of time before they change their mind and their newly made friends will be called enemies and terrorists, and they will invade Pakistan. Americans assume all Moslems are guilty of something evil, and that Islam is not the right religion but Christianity and Judaism are the right religions. Would the West have the courage to talk about that? The Earth Community invites all religious leaders to discuss this issue during the Global Dialogue on Earth Management to be held on August 2002 in Toronto.

Moslems have had enough of outsiders exploiting them for profit and power, of being used and killed, and their communities destroyed. The act of terrorism of September 11 was not caused by a group of lawless people with Osama bin Laden as their leader. No! The act of terrorim was the result of an entire Moslem Civilization telling America, and any new outsiders, to butt out of the Middle East or else they will come to our land and do the same to us. Killing Osama bin Laden and his people will not solve the roots of the problem that is, the Way of Life of the West and our values (or the lack of them) need to be reexamined.

One day the Earth Court of Justice will have a trial for everyone of those leaders who voted yes for the invasion of Afghanistan. It is a horrible crime against humanity, against all human rights, and against democracy and freedom to have invaded Afghanistan.

Several times in the past the Earth Community has requested the United Nations to restructure their organization to be in touch with the problems humanity is facing in this millennium. Free trade and its lack of social and environmental concerns is the most threatening of all problems. It created terrorism. The UN have never replied. Four of the five UN Permanent Members, the United States, Great Britain, France, and Russia, are those countries that, not only control the UN, but they are the same countries that have brought disgrace to humanity by their selfish, immoral, unethical, incoherent, inconsistent, dishonnest, erratic, and mostly aimed at making money behavior in the Middle East and towards Afghanistan. They have given to trade a bad name. Because of them free trade has become a danger to the extinction of life on Earth. The Earth Government will do everything possible to give free trade the proper guidance for humanity. Free trade will become a global co-operation between all nations. The kind of behaviour that happened in the Middle East and in many other parts of the world will not be allowed again.

Earth Community believes all citizens have the right to share the wealth in the world. The free trade agreement between nations must protect and improve social and environmental rights, not just the economy. A sustainable development in the world would mean finding a sound balance among the interactions designed to create a healthy economic growth, preserve environmental quality, make a wise use of our resources, and enhance social benefits. Free trade cannot proceed at the expense of the environment, labour rights, human rights and the sovereignty of a nation. Free trade leads to an increase in poverty by giving investor rights priority over government decision-making. Employers will be looking for more concessions from workers. Small businesses will find it more difficult to grow and compete against large corporations.

Free trade entrenches corporate power at the expense of democratically elected officials from local communities, municipal governments, provincial governments, national governments and states. It is a form of "world anti-government" (such as the European Union block) as citizens lose the ability to act in their best interests and find sound solutions to their own problems. Citizens become disconnected with the decision-making process. Their lives are then driven by the desire of making profits. Fear is used to force people to behave with the dollar sign as their god. In such scenario, democratic principles lose meaning and no longer prevail. All that we have worked for over the past decades to build sustainable communities is gone with free trade. People were never asked to discuss and were never invited in its development. The principles of a sustainable development are let go and replaced by the desire of the world business leaders to make larger profits.

Over its long past history trade has never evolved to require from the trading partners to become completely responsible for their products from beginning to end. At the end, the product becomes a waste and it needs to be properly dispose of.

All persons working, directly or indirectly, for the war industry, are responsible and accountable to humanity and to God for anything happening to their products after they are sold. Even here in Ontario, Canada, we manufacture weapons and war products. Workers go home happy after a good day of work. They have to pay for their mortgages and make car payments and others. They are mostly Christians. When they go to work, they leave their religious beliefs at home. Ethical and moral values no longer touch them. They dont think that are actually responsible and accountable for spreading evil all around the world. They think they are "good people", good citizens. Every single bullet you manufacture you are responsible and accountable for it, all of you from the President of the company to the employee on the industrial line. Our Society holds responsibility and accountability as well.

It is the same idea for any consumer product. You manufacture, produce, farm or create a product, you become responsible and accountable of your product from beginning to end (to the point where it actually becomes a waste; you are also responsible for the proper disposable of the waste).

People in our society often argue that their manufacturing products and the trading principles or rules that regulate their actions are all legal! But what about ethical values and moral principles?!

By making an astronomical profit through the selling of arms, war products and equipment to all of the Middle East countries, including Iran, Irak and Afghanistan, and by sucessively calling these old friends their new enemies and terrorists, and destroying their countries, America and Great Britain have shown that they could never be trusted. Since the Cold War is over, the only American interests in the Middle East are the cheap crude oil and the protection of Israel. The Jews come first even if it mean to fight and annihilate the entire Islamic Civilization with nuclear war heads. If you have any doubt that they would do such an atrocious crime, ask the people from Japan and also, ask the Russians as they have back off from rubbing their noses with those of the American and the British.

But the problem with Israel in the Middle East is not about the small piece of land that they have taken from the Moslem world. It is about religion: Judaism and Christianity (from America) versus Islam. Actually it is not so much Christianity as Americans have another religion, they have money or the dollar sign as their religion. In a way, the West is jealous of the Islamic Faith, and followers of the Faith, moderates, fundamentalists and extremists. Much of our Western philosophy is related to science and its applications, and about the Universe, the evolution of Life, and it has its roots in the Islamic Faith, and that is totally opposed by Christian believers as they believe in Creation. It is like the Islamic Faith is intruding in a major way into the Christian Faith. This was amply shown during the Iran-Irak War. The Love-Hate relationship with either regime was based mostly on the love of profit-making from the part of America and hate of Americans and Jews by Iraqis and Iranians. This Love-Hate relationship is very much the same today. Basically what Americans have showed is that, given enough money, America can be bought. No need to destroy America, just buy it.

Today the war industry is exploiting the issue of terrorism for profit. Everyone knows terrorism cannot be fought by conventional warfare but that would not deter the industry from saying it is the best way to get rid of terrorists. Our governments are now spending tax dollars used for social and environmental programs and services to pay for more war products and equipment. Terrorists have committed the horrible acts of september 11 because the war industry brought terror in their homeland and is continuing to do so today in Afghanistan and in Palestine. In the "Letter to the people of the Middle East", the Earth Community has asked Muslims not to buy war products and equipment from the West or from any country in the world. The only way to fight evil is by not buying its products. The industry should die eventually, hopefully. But now the war industry is organizating a massive international media campaign to make taxpayers pay for their expenses. More illusions about protecting the humble people from nuclear war heads being sent from one continent to another. The terrorist act of September 11 has shown that if terrorists wanted to use war heads they would not use intercontinental missiles.

Throughout the 20th Century, the war industry has created the worse evil humanity has ever encountered: the business of conflicts and wars. It is a business that has made trillions of dollars (American) and will continue to do so. It is the "mother of all evils" created by human beings. It has no moral value, no understanding about Life, no respect for anyone or anything, no law except the ones that it makes for itself, and all its products are meant to kill and destroy. It has sold its products to the enemies for the purpose of making more profit. It has subdued governments all over the world to make them buy its products. It has given trade and way of doing business a bad reputation and, therefore, it is a threat to the establisment of business. Although the war industry has a good public image, it does not really matter who is the buyer as long as he pays good money. The proof of this reality was easily verified by finding out what war products and equipment were being used by Iran, Irak, Afghanistan, and other Middle East countries. Over 90% of all war products and equipment were made in the USA, Great Britain, Germany, France and Russia. Four out of five of these countries are Permanent Members of the United Nations and that means they have almost a 100% control on any proposal submitted to the organization. The fifth Permanent Member missing here is China. Shortly after the September 11 event, the UN Security Council has approved war against the people of Afghanistan. To get China to vote YES they gave China a membership in the World Trade Organization(WTO).

May the DIVINE WILL be in your lives and show you the way.
May humanity's higher purposes be to manage Earth responsibly and spread life throughout the Universe.
